They’ve improved over the years
I think these are a great entry pair of shorts. I’ve done at most 70 mile ride in them and had no issues. The newer version has a thinner chamois, the inseam is slightly longer (even though it’s listed the same), and deep pockets that can safely hold a phone. Personally, I think the changes they made to this model have been good. I have 4 pairs in small (125lbs ,5’3).
Favorite bike shorts
I really like these shorts. I was worried they would be too short, but I love the length. the fabric has a nice bit of support and compression without being overly tight. It is a thick and smooth fabric so it will not pill. The padding is great for long bike rides. The waistband and the legs do not move or roll at all which is rare in bike shorts. Colors are awesome too!
