A little overkill
Love the durability of these, however the little rubber part came over the string when pulling out of the ground (some hard clay soils where I am) and made it extremely difficult to pull out of the ground. I used these 35 days this summer and found no sign of them giving up anytime soon. you think the glow in the dark part is necessary, it probably is not, even with no moon and overcast skies I could not see the glow. Overall, super happy with the quality but has a few extras a part of them that are not necessary.

Great stake (kinda), garbage stopper.
When the plastic rings come off you can use those for tension unless they break, which they do because they are cheap. I do like that they are glow in the dark. The stakes themselves are durable and strong except they have no stopping point in which to grab a guy/tent hole. I like the idea, but poor execution. If the tethers on the plastic stoppers were longer than the stake they could come off from the tip and be more useful. The stakes themselves NEED a stopping point of their own. A knot in the tether is not substantial enough to prevent slippage.

Weak Paracord

First trip the spikes were perfect and held up the tent nice and sturdy, came out of the soft ground just fine. Second trip, they held the tent down but all but five of the paracords broke getting the stakes out of the ground.

Quality Lightweight stake!

I picked these up from a local shop to go along with a new tent. They’re definitely a quality price of kit and I’ve never had any issues with them from sandy plaines to the gravel of the Rockies they dig in and hold. Using these for both my footprint and main tent body I rode out a wind storm with 65+ winds with ZERO problem. Oh and I was in a different tent with only my sleeping pad/bag in my own and it held perfectly. It still baffles me how well this gear worked... One time buy, you won’t regret.

OK product but not MSR

I used these during my 7 week foray into the American SW and they worked OK. But the MSR Ground Hogs out performed these by a lot. Sure, the MSR GH's are way more expensive and the MSR's may be lacking some bells and whistles (night-time visibility). But I never felt like I need my tent stakes to light up the night. I also worry about the durability of these whereas the MSR Ground Hogs will last forever and have a great overall design that works well and functions in the field.

Light, smart design, and super easy to clean

These stakes are awesome…way lighter than my old ones and surprisingly strong for how minimal they are. The little sweeping feature to clear off dirt when you pull them out is such a simple idea but makes a big difference. The reflective cord makes them easy to spot at night. Overall, just a really well-thought-out piece of gear. I didn’t think I’d get this excited about tent stakes, but here we are!

Perfect Tent Stakes

Whoever designed these tent stakes needs a raise ASAP. Pretty sure every tent camper has had this cross their minds but to actually make it happen is so awesome. Glow in the dark/reflective uses give it that much more of a reason to purchase. Highly recommend it's definitely a "want" item but it makes your cleanup and pack cleaner which is awesome for multi day hikes!

Multifunctional stakes

Purchased these to replace the crappy ones the tent came with. They're lightweight, triangular (sorta) so they don't spin in the ground. The tops also glow in the dark making them easier to see. The slides could go down just a bit farther and a notch towards the top for cordage would be the only improvements I can see so far. Definitely use and enjoy the Sweepstakes

Light weight and sturdy

I purchased these stakes this summer and have used them extensively over the season. Summer conditions were relatively mild and I felt I never truly tested them. In my early use of the stakes, they were primarily used in gravel to loamy soil of the Sierras. However, this past weekend, I used them to secure my tent for a two night backpacking trip during a massive storm with strong winds. The stakes held up perfectly. They were used in hard pack clay soil which turned to a thick muck with the rain. The stakes held the tent and rain fly without budging. They were easy to insert into the hard pack ground and, for the second night, thick mud. The triangular shape held the stakes tight in place. The plastic sweeps were.a huge help in clearing the ridges of the stake of the dirt, mud and debris. As strong as the stakes held, they are also incredibly lightweight, making it much easier to carry in my pack. These are a well designed and thoughtful product. I highly recommend the product.
