Comfy and flattering for the outdoors or the city
I was a bit hesitant about these at first as I often find stretchy pant material to be super unflattering and overly restrictive. Thankfully I was wrong! These pants fit really well even on what I’ll refer to as “athletic” thighs, while having enough give and stretch to be great for climbing and hiking. I’ve used these several times for both and they’re definitely going to be a cool weather staple. The color is a nice dark khaki that’s also great for casual use around the city. As someone who prefers multi-use clothes I’m super stoked about these. FYI: I have the size 27. I’m 5’4with 27” waist, 38” hips, 22” thighs and 32” inseam. The pants do loosen somewhat over the course of the day which I prefer for comfort and movement.
Fabric is great, but waist is high!
Admittedly, I have a tough time finding pants that fit. I have big thighs, so I usually buy a size up and have the waist taken in. That was my plan with these, but they are also a lot higher in the waist than I would have wanted. I'm 5'3" with a short torso and the waistband was over my belly button... Not a good look in khakis, IMO! Bottom line, if you're short and have an athletic build, it might be tough to get the sizing right on these, but they seem well made and the material is really soft and comfortable.
Great pants for urban cyclists!
I love these pants. They're durable and comfortable with a relaxed feel. I like that the waist is just high enough not to allow my butt to show while I'm cycling (if my shirt rides up). I want to buy a pair for every day of the week. The material feels soft to the touch. They're a little springy so they're even comfortable on days I feel a little bloated. I wore them in 75 degree weather and didn't feel sweaty at all.
Tabbaco = greenish?
This look like a camel or khaki color in the pictures but they are an odd green color in person. I will be swapping them out for sure. I wish the picture had been more accurate and I would have ordered the gray.
Not high enough in the back for activity
Continually disappointed with pants supposedly made for active women. If you have a butt-the waist on these is too low in the back to ride a bike, bend over, go for a hike. The quality and workmanship is very good. I can wear these to work with a very long shirt. This is not the only company with this problem-I have given up on Prana pants too.
nice fit, runs small
Duer does OK with their pants but their sizing is all over the place. I always order a 26 for every brand, always... except Duer. Sz26 is just the start of the guessing game, sometimes up, sometimes down. Also, for the price, these pants don't stand out.
Great casual pants!
Great multipurpose pants for casual wear, work, and gardening. Very soft, breathable, and more comfortable than regular jeans. I also really like the high rise waist for more support.
Love the fabric and the comfort!
Love the fabric and the fit. The weight of the fabric is substantial like denim but it is cool and comfortable, just perfect. I didn't notice that they stretched out during the day, in fact I could wear them a second day if I was traveling. They are mid-rise and the gusseted crotch is very comfortable. I got a pair in 29 and another in 30 waist and favor the 30 waist. Usual size is 8. Hope they have more colors in the future!
Stylish yet comfortable
These pants are great. I have worn these to hikes and biking to work. They look stylish yet really comfortable. I even had a bike accident and these pants didn't tear and protected my knees. They kept me warm on early morning bikes to work in the Fall and kept me cool and sweat free in the Summer hikes. I like these so much that I'm getting the other color too. I'm 5"6 and 122lbs and size 2 fits me perfectly.
Sizing is way off
If you’re going to make women’s pants, they should be sized in women’s sizing. Waist wayyyy too small in relation to the rest of the pants. I guess that’s the “slim” part? The legs are actually baggy.
