Day hike or birding trip ready
It's tight, but it's just large enough to accommodate what I need for a day hike with 10 essentials. It's a little bit smaller than the old version of the Tour Waistpack, but it can hold more on the outside attached to the gear straps on the bottom side for a Chair Zero or an extra jacket. With the webbing across the front it's easy to connect up to 5 caribiner for more gear. Note it's water resistant, but if you want to add a raincover you won't be able to effectively use the outside attachments beyond maybe a softshell jacket. Also it barely fits my NL Pure 8 x 32 binoculars in their case, but it does work, so I am a happy birder. Overall a great waistpack for a day in the woods in Spring, summer or fall. Bonus! It fits my Grayl Geo press water filter secured with a caribiner. the caribiners are necessary for securing Nalgene water bottles, too. with caribiners securing the bottles it is possible to jog with this pack on the trail
Okay but not perfect
The pack is a bit on the small side but functional. My group first aid kit takes up almost the entire pocket with very little room for anything else. The description says the waist pockets will fit a large cell phone but my S24 ultra won't even come close to fitting in either pocket. I guess my phone goes back into my pants pocket. Definitely not perfect but better than some of the others that are out there.
