It's a nice short. It is.
When I say it's a nice pair of shorts, it is. However, the material is a bit thinner than I expected. Works out really well on the hotter days. Also, there's not a lot of the "swishing" that I get with other nylon shorts, which is a plus. The included belt isn't much--I'm looking for a replacement even as I type this. Lastly, the sizing seems to run a bit small. 34 usually gives me a little room, but not so much with this short. Fortunately, it's got the two sections of elastic in the waist band that allow for some give, but not a ton. I would probably order up a size if I were to order these again.
We have two pair.
I bought a pair first because I like the camo look and wore them on vacation to Aruba. The wife thought they looked so attractive and comfortable that we figured out her size in guys shorts. She wears hers as much as I do. The construction is excellent, the fit comfortable and they work well in tropical heat.

Best Short Ever Created
Wow what can I say except I bought 2 more pairs. Absolutely LOVE these short. It feels like you are wearing nothing at all. The cooling aspect really works and I have tried them out in tropical and humid SW FL. The stretchy waist works well but no too much were they start to fall down. Pockets are nice and holds my large cell phone with no issues. If they had a six star rating I would use it. LOVE LOVE LOVE these shorts. The camo color is great.
Great Functional Shorts ~ Cool Too!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The short is made of light, airy material that dries quickly, resists wrinkling and does not easily snag. There is both a zip and slit pocket and the 12 inch length fits just below the knee. I have this short in a convertible pant and have nearly worn them out in the past year. I like the Black Camo print and price. Great Quality item ~ Plus the Shorts are Cool!
Inconsistent Waist Size
I live in Florida and have been wearing Columbia Titanium shorts for years. They have been replaced with Silver Ridge. I have bought 3 pair of Silver Ridged and they are as tough as the Titanium, however the waist fit of all 3 pair are inconsistant ranging from good to to large for the same supposed size.
Nice Casual Cargo Short
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light breathable yet durable fabric, functional pockets. A note on the fit, the leg openings are tapered at the bottom near the knee, which helps to avoid wear in the inner seams. The 10 inch inseam sits jusdt above my knees (I am 5'10") so the 12 inch model leg hem would be below the knee.
great for fishing
Once I received my order, I've tried it on and it's lightweight, comfortable, the innovation that Columbia has created omni wick and shade. I would like to have the development team to create a reflective camo PFG shorts omni wick, shade and zero with different size length.
Perfect on the water

Not to mention they do a great job at shedding water so they work great at keeping you dry while out on the water and having the occasional spray. I would highly reccomend these shorts
Very Comfortable Shorts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these shorts. They're light, fit loose, and comfortable even after driving from Texas to Minnesota. The back of the waist button is not covered and can dig in after long periods of sitting which is the only reason I did not rate them a perfect score.
