Really love this sports bra!

I must start with that I normally don't write a lot of reviews in general. But I got this bra (Brooks Scoopback) when it was on sale. Wasn't really expecting much of it. But I ended up going back and buying several more. I wear these pretty much all the time and to work. I really like how it fits and it very comfortable! After I'm writing this review I'm actually going to order my 4th bra online. Try it out!

This bra runs extremely small. I ordered my size based on the sizing chart, and it was ridiculously small. The material seemed comfortable, but I ordered this item online and had to return it. I really wanted to like it. I was very disappointed that it ran so small.

Love the Dare Sccopback

Honestly, I use the Dare bra for everyday use and not workouts. As a nurse, I wear it under my scrubs and any tapered fitting shirts for full support and full coverage. This smooths all the areas and doesn't dig in anywhere; it also gives the firm support I like, reducing any bounce. Whatever happened with Moving Comfort/Brooks and the merger of the two, PLEASE bring back the FIONA and the JUNO bra's, these are what most endurance athletes wanted for support, compression and comfort! Create a fashionable line with the thinner straps, lower cuts and stylish enough to wear on their own and an endurance line for us ladies that want to be locked down with comfort and compression during events. Everyone wins!

Almost perfect. Stretches over time.

I LOVED this bra when I first got it. It was comfortable, full coverage (wide band/straps), and I really liked all the different adjustment settings so I could really customize the fit to my body. Oh, and the color (448) is so pretty. After awhile, I came across two issues: 1) I wish I would have sized down (from a 38 to a 36). I was measured by an associate in-store and I bought the recommended size, however after 2 months, it stretched so much that it didn't fit quite the same and felt so loose. 2) Not sure if this can be fixed, but it would be nice if the strap adjustments stayed in place even after being washed. I had to readjust before every wear.

Comfortable & adjustable, easy to put on

I was looking for something which keeps the feminine shape (don’t make me look flat chested) as well as comfortable for running so I can go for a quick run pre lunch and will not require a full attire change. I go in an athleisure wear to work on my run days and was looking for the perfect bra that can be worn all day. This bra solves the need, the cups are molded so they hold shape and fabric doesn’t chafe (it is some sort of polymide which don’t need edges to be stitched). It is a bit pricy but I am hoping it functions for a long time. I got 34C fits good and it has adjustable straps so I could loosen it post run for comfort.

Love it!

I LOVE this sports bra and am so thrilled I found it. I wanted one that didn't have a cross back. Those are always uncomfortable. I have no idea why everyone is making them like that now. I wanted one that was like a regular bra but made for running. When I saw this one at REI, I winced at the price, but I had to try it. Best money ever spent on a sports bra! Ticked all the boxes and is so comfortable that I have bought a few more. I even wear them on days I am now working out because they are so comfortable. The fabric is extremely soft and you'd be surprised how breathable this bra is. I barely feel any moisture at all when I wear it running. I am a C cup and it's enough support for me.

Comfortable and supportive running bra

I really like the smooth fabric and lack of seam lines as I have very sensitive skin. Being able to select individual band and cup size makes for a well fitting bra. It's not a bra that I would like to wear all day because of the compression, but it does it's job as it was meant to for running or other active pursuits. I do wish that Brooks would make the lighter colors more available for wearing under light color tops though; they always seem to be out-of-stock. The Brooks Dare Zip Front bra is the same in fit and feel and I also wear that one, although the top of the zipper makes a bit of weird lump under thin exercise tees.

Comfortable and functional!

This is my favorite sports bra and regular bra of all time. The shape is flattering, the material is soft yet strong. I work in the outdoor industry and happily wear the Dare Scoopback for days at a time while camping and hiking. I want this bra to last forever so I've been hand-washing and line-drying just to be extra gentle. I purchased a black and pink. The pink arrived in the mail with some discoloration/stains...but they washed out with simple laundry detergent. I am 5'4" 125lbs and typically wear a size 34 C in "normal" bras. The 34 C/D fits perfectly.

Overpriced bralette in sporty fabric

I second what previous reviewers said. Maybe this would work if you are fairly flat and looking for a yoga bra. But for a good fit with support? No way. I knew I was in for trouble at my local running store when I saw that they came in only two cup sizes--A/B or C/D. The company is attempting to get around this problem by making the single-layer of fabric thin and stretchy to try to cover the wider size range. Even the straps are thin and stretchy. This means that I could not even jog in place in the fitting room without bouncing all over. Basically, it's way way-overpriced bralette, just in sporty fabric instead of lace.
