Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements.
SHORT: Some pants are available in short sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 2.5 inches shorter than regular sizes.
TALL: Some pants, shirts, jackets and parkas are available in tall sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 3 inches longer and a rise that is 1 inch longer, a shirt or jacket body that is 2 inches longer, a parka body that is 2.5 inches longer and sleeves that are 2.5 inches longer than regular sizes.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

Great looking shirt
Currently hiking the Appalachian trail. Hot, hot days and this shirt drys fast. I started wearing it at the Delaware water gap and so far it’s held up great to Massachusetts. I role up the sleeves and can unbutton it to stay cool. When clean and not dirty, I look “normal “ in towns. If REI can make a shirt like this, simple, no extra cargo pockets, same material and holes for vent in the armpits and back it would be a winner. I checked out the other button up shirt from REI. It was heavy, to many pockets and had a cargo pant feel. I like that it dry fast, I had another REI shirt from 4 years ago. It would never dry, it hold well against odors.
Excellent everyday shirt
I got the green color and absolutely love it. I live in FL and wore the shirt while I went out fishing. The shirt is very light and breathable. It also looks really good. I imagine the shirt could be worn for weekend hikes but I'm not sure if it'd hold up if you were really mountaineering.
Good finish, not fit
Just received this in the mail, so I can't speak to long term durability; but initial impression is that it's well made and of good design. my negative is in the sizing: I wear a large in most everything and, while the body fits well (albeit form fitting), the sleeves are a good 2 inches short. I don't have abnormally long arms (I'm 6', 215lbs).
Collar fit is a little off
Loved this shirt! The fabric and feel were better than I expected and I liked there were no buttons near the upper arms for holding rolled up sleeves. Although, I did return this item because the collar was too big and stood away from the back of my neck. All other aspects of the shirt were fine and felt true to size.
nice and lightweight but arms are short
Nice looking shirt and lightweight for summer but very short in the arms. My husband is 6' tall, normally wears a 34" in a dress shirt and ordered the medium which has always been a size that works in hiking shirts of various brands, and was the size the model was wearing who has similar dimensions, but the arms are about 1" too short. I will be returning this.
super light weight, runs small!
The reviews lead me to believe these shirts run large, I got the medium, brought them back, ordered large, just barely fit. I am very comfortable in REI, brand size large jackets, medium is close.
Great quality shirt
This shirt is great quality and more of a casual look with the practicality of hiking shirts without the goofy look. Really love it. Not sure why they stopped selling it.
Runs really small
This product runs really small. I am a medium 99% of the time and it would not go over my shoulders. Then you have to pay $9.00 to return it! Bummer.
