Sizing Notes
Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements.
SHORT: Some pants are available in short sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 2.5 inches shorter than regular sizes.
TALL: Some pants, shirts, jackets and parkas are available in tall sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 3 inches longer and a rise that is 1 inch longer, a shirt or jacket body that is 2 inches longer, a parka body that is 2.5 inches longer and sleeves that are 2.5 inches longer than regular sizes.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

Great casual shirt, clean lines
Great shirt, I'd say the fit is slightly more generous than the super-slim business shirts that were popular a couple of years ago, but it's not as baggy as a regular/traditional (straight cut) business shirt, either. I'm 5'10" 175 and the medium is perfect, gives me a little room to breath while still giving a trim appearance. Perfect for casual night out, travel etc. Personally I like that the sleeve and bottom hems are "no hem," it gives a sleek appearance, and those bottom hems tend to fold/roll up in the laundry. I hate ironing but even when I do, it's really impossible to iron those back down on synthetic fabrics.
Clean, Modern - Let's see how the seams hold up?
Very clean, modern tailoring, minimal. Very much my vibe! Happy to see more Co-Op clothing options like this shirt. Back bottom is cut with a slight drop seam. Assuming for back-packing or bike-commuting? I am reluctant to give it a 5 Star rating as I want to see how it holds up. Especially the seams. It has the "no-sew" sealed seams at the sleeves and bottom hem. The shirt is so clean looking already, I feel like they could have just gone with a stitched seam similar to the rest of the construction. Nonetheless, the shirt still looks great. I look forward to wearing it in a more active setting. (Sheltered-at-home right now). My review is a bit biased as this is my vibe completely. Clean, modern, that can be worn actively, traveling, on vacation, and at work (Multi-purpose). And they have black! Most REI clothing items don't come in black so I have to generally look towards Columbia, Patagonia , or Arc'teryx.
Loved the minimalist packaging!
So first off, I love how rei packaged this shirt. They rolled it up into a cylindrical shape and then tied it with some type of organic looking material (although I’m pretty sure it wasn’t hemp or twine). The shirt itself is cool too! Very thin but drapes well over my body. Love the fit. Loose but not baggy. And even thought I bought it in black, it does seem like it would do well in heat mostly due to how thin and light the material is. Satisfied since I bought it on sale for 30 bucks.
Comparable to triple aught design
Solid performance. I got the triple aught design Gemwni shirt as a gift and loved it. I bought another but at a 100 a pop that adds up Quick. I looked for a similar alternative and found this These shirts aren’t quite as nice, fabric isn’t exactly the same but for half the price with 85% of the features I love it. Fit is good, cut is appropriate. They seem to handle the wash well, even with my hard Arizona water.
Handsome shirt - RUNS SMALL!
Handsome and lightweight shirt that suprisingly ran small for size compared to my previous REI shirts.
OK, but not designed for active use
The shirt feels and looks nice when standing still, but my frustration with the design of this shirt and its long-sleeved cousin are that they offer little mobility. If you raise your arm, there is no 'give' under the sleeve and the whole shirt rises up. Try raising both arms and the shirt lifts up to your ears. That's an annoying quality with some dress shirts, but inexcusable for a shirt sold by an outdoor company. The overall fit is a little tight too.
Very nice
I bought this as a travel shirt as it is nylon and easily washed. I like the fit. I’m a 42 short in suit jackets, large was perfect. It can even be worn untucked. By the way I did check out untucked shirts from a different manufacturer and was not impressed. To infinity and beyonder.
Double Duty
I got this shirt hoping it could serve double duty: a light shirt for summer for hiking and photography. It serves those functions well, but is also suitable and high enough quality for work as a Court Attorney for virtual appearances. Go figure ! Good quality, very comfortable.
Fit is just a bit off
I really liked the look of this shirt so I ordered two. The shirts fit great everywhere except across the chest where it ran small and you could see the stretch on one button. I'm 5'10 210 pounds and usually wear a large. Everywhere except the chest was perfect on this.
Feels cheap
Construction seems fine but the material just feels cheap. I don’t have a local store if I did I would return it.
