So warm, great winter shoe, but ripped
Great winter sneaker! Unfortunately they ripped on the fourth day I wore them.
A Very Comfortable Pair Of Ethos Walking Shoes
My order arrived faster than expected. The Ethos Vintage Black looked great right out of the box. The suede trim is quite elegant against the soft, grainy leather, and the white wall on the bottom does not make the shoes look like sneakers. When I tried the shoes on, I found it fitting perfectly in the toe-box area, and the insoles were comfortable as well. However, the shoes kept sliding off my heels while walking. I still gave it 5 stars since the problem is my thin heels. I'm 5.1", 128 lbs, and my size is 7.5 in Brooks, Forsake, Altra, and Hoka One One.
Runs slightly small and narrow
I’m usually a size 10 . Purchased size 10, found the toe box a little snug so sized up to a 10.5, but like other reviewer, they are slipping off my heel with regular athletic sock. Shoe is a little heavier and warmer than the Cadence style because it’s leather. Footbed feels a little narrow so may not work for wider feet.. price is great. Not sure if I will return yet. Wanted them for walking trip so don’t think they’ll work for that, but may be ok as street shoe.
Cute but poorly made
Loved these sneakers for about 3 weeks before they ripped on the suede part. Super disappointed!
I WAS DISAPPOINTED
Well, these sneakers looked good. Looked like the kind of sneakers that would make a size-10 foot look smaller and cuter. But when I picked them up the first thing I noticed was: the sack was HEAVY. The sneakers are quite heavy, but more importantly they looked like clodhoppers, like big ol' men's shoes. Yes they were slightly too big; should've ordered 10's vs 10-1/2's. But really, that wouldn't have made much difference. They just LOOKED big, much bigger than other sneakers I have that are the same size. I didn't wear them at all, so I can't say they aren't comfortable! Probably are. Maybe I should've given them 3 stars, maybe I'm being mean. But there we are. (Merry Christmas and Happy Pandemic!)
You will NOT be disappointed!
These were in my cart and about to get eliminated because I was narrowing down WAY to many things. Then, i saw the previous review that said "if they are in your cart, get them", so I did. Excellent decisions were made. I got the black pair. Good quality is an understatement. They are very, very soft, have a very comfortable squish to them AND are super cute! Coming with two pairs of laces (black and white) I can change them to match anything. Shorts, pants, skirts; they look great. Highly recommended!

I’m excited I got these for such an awesome price! They are soft and adorable and I really like them. They do run a little small, maybe go a half size up!

Perfect sneakers!
I stopped by my local REI about 20-30 minutes before closing one night just for kicks, and just happened to look over on the clearance shoe rack and spot these! I was surprised they had my size and was shocked at the price tag! I was in the search for a pair of neutral/white sneakers for a long time but couldn't decide on any since I mostly looked online. These fit the bill well--super comfortable for an unbeatable price of less than $40 (considering they have been like $120)!!
Falling apart quickly
These are falling apart after something like 30 walks around the neighborhood. The inner fabric behind the heel completely disintegrated in one of the shoes. I can’t remember the last time I bought shoes that were such a low quality as these.
