Love it
So I agree with the people who think last years version was nicer. BUT! Without that reference point, this is still a fantastic shirt. Very light, soft fabric, stays cool outdoors while providing cover for the arms. I won't wear anything besides this or another capilene short or long sleeve while biking or running (or, as I am right now, when at my desk writing product reviews). Bonus for the pandemic: if you are doing laundry by hand to avoid shared-use facilities or machines, these things dry incredibly quickly when hung up or put on a rack.

Fabric Pilling Issue
After wearing just 3 times I noticed fabric pilling (little balls forming on the fabric) on front, back and inside (body side) of the sleeves. Not a good look. Very disappointing. Have to invest in a fabric defuzzer. Hope it works because I like the shirt style and fit.

Tech Gear the Breathes

This layer is spectacular for its ability to breathe, wick and dry and dry at light speed. It is cozy from 40-86 degrees F. over a light base like a tank or t. I will be purchasing another. The Capilene Performance Line NEVER FAILS to Impress.

Awesome

I got this Capilene Cool trail long-sleeve shirt for hiking on days when the temp was under 75 degrees (F) give or take. I wore it hiking quite a bit in the last five or six months and I really do like it in every way. It's very soft and comfortable. It dries rather quickly and doesn't hold in the stink. I even wear it in the winter months as a baselayer and that works as well. My only minor complaint is that it is sometimes hard to tell the back from the front when putting this shirt on since there is no clear indicator - it's easy to get mixed up in low light situations! All in all though, this really is an awesome shirt.

Very Nice Shirt, Not Quite for Me

I liked this a lot--great color, feel, and--mostly--great fit. However, my arms are slightly on the long size (for dress shirts I'm 16 1/2 x 35-36, not the standard 16 1/2 x 34-35). Most mediums fit my arms, but these were a bit short. So not quite for me, which is a darn shame because in every other respect this was exactly the long sleeve tee I'd been looking for.

Great Base-Layer!

This is a great base-layer shirt that wasn't too hot to wear in 70^/80^ weather, but also warm enough to provide some warmth. The shirt is super soft and comfortable by itself or worn as a base layer.

Excellent wicking and breathability, but smells.

The fact that this is a really good shirt (breathabiity, wicking, quick-drying, i like the color, feels comfortable) is just so disappointing because it somehow stink after. First time my shirt ever stank after a hike. None of my other shirts do that, except this one. I never stank so bad (well, its not so bad, it's just I'm not really used to my shirts smelling any different). No, i don't mean my shirts smells like new laundry even after sweating on it, but they all smelled somewhat neutral, except this one, and I have it verified by other people too (yeah I had them smell my shirts). Bummer. I'm keeping it though.

Love it!

Love this was perfect for snowboarding in, kept me dry and warm, but not overheated. Worth the price.

great feel but see through

I just got this yesterday and ordered it online. I hold it up to the light and it's very thin and see through in black. I tried it on and you can easily see all my body hair through it. I was planning on wearing it more places than just the trail. seems like I will only be wearing it to exercise and not in a semi professional setting or around family.

Great

Great lightweight shirt for all weather. Love the feel and breathability. Slight pilling on shoulders after wearing backpack. Probably to be expected with such a light fabric.
