The best overtop rack yet !!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is so easy to install and it’s very lightweight. So easy to transport my fishing rods to go fishing now it’s crazy storage hasn’t been so easy. Very easy to maintain and for this I rate this product I perfect 5 out of 5 Stars .
Some of the hardware is a problem.
Overall the racks work well holding rods in place. The one big problem is the four set screws used to lock the wing knobs in place. They either have too thick of powder coating on the screws or the provided "security" torx wrech is a bit too large because it's almost impossible to properly fit the wrench into the screw head. I literally had to tap the wrench with a hammer to get the wrench far enough into the head of the screws to be able to get it deep enough into the screw head without stripping it out. I'll be replacing the screws so they are more usable. Yakima needs to step up their QA systems.
Good product
They are great, no complaints. Have used it a few times already for fishing rods, and works great.
