Good Addition Instead of Lifting Heavy Bike
This ramp works really well loading an e bike on the Kuat rack for those of us who have lifting restrictions. Taking apart part of the rack to insert the bracket was pretty easy, the bolts were a little corroded. My only addition was some friction tape to keep the end of the ramp from getting scratched up on the cement pavement. I didn't even need to use the walk mode on the bike.
Terrible dangerous design
Terrible design. Bought for 45lb high end size medium trail e-mtb with 2.5” wide tires. Ramp is very unstable on pavement or dirt, especially if the surface is slightly uneven, which is the case anywhere one might load and unload. Hooks are a joke and ramp rolls where it touches ground because it’s not flat, and then the ramp is caught under tire once loaded so you have to lift the bike again to release the ramp. Gouged my leg with pedal as bike fell off the ramp. Easier to just back up to a curb or high spot and lift the bike on/off the tray one wheel at a time. I got injured loading a bike rather than on the trail! Might work for a 20lb bike but who would need a ramp for that? Come on, Kuat, you’re supposed to be the best. This flimsy thing is going back.

I originally received the wrong item. When I returned it to the store, the cashier said there was one more in inventory & quickly purchased it for me. Unfortunately, I received an email that it is no longer available and I was receiving a refund. This is extremely frustrating!!!
No Installation Instructions
No Installation Instructions were included with this new fresh out of the box ramp. Thanks to YouTube I was able to install without much trouble. Also, the included torx “L” shaped tool for installation is barely adequate.
Great shoes
Fit well and have awesome grip for hiking, and they are waterproof.
