It's a winner
Bought this with my dividend, bought a medium and returned for a small. Have worn it for riding almost daily and love it. To the reviewers complaining about the hood, it's made to wear UNDER your helmet, not over. Have also purchased the Showers Pass rain pants and they too are keepers, love the velcro tabs.

Didn’t live up to expectations
I was so excited to buy this jacket. The colour is great! (Personally, I feel that dark coloured raincoats are unsafe) It’s lightweight and fits well. But it doesn’t keep me dry. The inside of the arms get dripping wet on casual walks in the rain. I’m just as soaked as I would be without a jacket - yet I paid for this privilege

Back is too short

I wanted to like this jacket! I liked the style and the bright color with the contrasting zipper. I tried it on several times with the hope that it would work for me. But the back is about an inch shorter than other styles of Showers Pass jackets. I'm 5'8'', but even the XL was still too short. It was enough that (when bent at the waist like riding a bike) there ended up being a 0.5in gap between the bottom of the jacket and the top of my rain pants (and that was with the rain pants hiked up unattractively high!). Too bad! Ended up going with the Double Century RTX which is not the popping color I wanted but at least it's longer so there's no gap.

Wife is very happy with it

Great jacket. Proper cycling fit--short in the stomach and long in the back, the sleeves are a touch long so they don't ride up when your hands are spread on the bike. It's very high-vis without being obnoxiously so. It's hard to tell from photos, but it has a decidedly apple green tint and does not come off as the typical construction high-vis yellow. The purple highlights also help. She's likes the color and having a rain jacket with pit-zips is an upgrade. I like that she's not wearing a dark-colored rain jacket on a bike at night anymore.

Great of Cycling and Hiking

I ordered this to use as a windbreaker/rain jacket for my daily bike commute and for hiking. I have used it for both purposes and am very happy. The underarm zippers are great to let in a little air while biking and the zip cable in the hood helps cinch it in so it doesn't blow off when it's windy. It blocks wind well and rain. Overall I'm really happy. I do wish it had a couple of extra pockets to stash little things for quick reach, but I still really like it! The reflective strips and bright color are great for my night time commutes home in the dark.

Great Jacket!

Love this Jacket! Great color combination. I am going to use it year round for running, hiking, other outdoor activities as well as just going to shop or out to eat. It is fitted through the midsection to the top of the hips so if you want to layer underneath with a sweater or fleece top, I would size up. I am a true medium but bought a large. The large still looked flattering with only a t-shirt underneath. Shower Pass did an excellent job of designing this jacket. I have not been in heavy rainfall so unfortunately I cannot comment on the waterproof function.

not waterproof or water resistance

Bought this about a month ago and used this for warmer weather cycling. I already own a Showers pass winter jacket, gloves and bike pants. All the past products with Showers pass are amazing and waterproof. Usually very happy this company. This jacket is not even water resistance. Everytime it would rain or mist inside of jacket wet and. Thought at first different product than the higher end cycling jackets but expect more from this brand. Returning product very disappointed. Fits greats and like the neon yellow color.

great rain jacket

Love this jacket! Stayed quite dry in pouring rain, comfortable, and I love the greenish color. My only comment is that it runs small. I often wear M or L, but I got this in XL and it’s snug. It’s lightweight , good for spring or summer deluges. I wore it hiking and loved it, would be great for biking

Mom's Favorite

Got this in the green color for my mom in her standard size. I got it for her as a present when she signed up for some women's beginner mtb clinics. It's been worn on the bike but since then it's become her favorite for everyday use. She says she loves that the color is bright but "doesn't look like a construction worker" and reflective trims for walking the dog on dark/wet mornings in Seattle.

My Go-To jacket

I rarely buy clothing on-line so I got lucky on this one. It fits great and is the perfect weight for my short daily commute. I have found these light weight waterproof jackets need an occasional re-coating of a waterproof spray to keep the water rolling off as it should. Reasonable maintenance. I like this jacket for hiking too because it packs up pretty small. Great value for the price.
