Too long
I ordered a Medium in a regular length. The waist is great, but the length is way too long. I am 5'6" 140 lbs. The legs are waaay too long. Even with boots, the legs/fabric bunch up in the knees and looks silly. Plus then the cuffs get stuck under my boot. I am going to try the short, but worried 30 inches will be too short! We'll see. Probably a perfect fit if you are the right height. Additionally they are not the easiest to get on and off. The straps need to be pulled over your head. I wish it had snaps of velcro instead. It is just a bit awkward to get in an out of. However I do like how they feel when on, sleek, yet warm, and easy to move around in. Love the material.
Excellent for barn work
These bibs are great for doing barn chores in the morning before work. I can wear them over my office attire while I throw hay, fill troughs, etc. They fit great — 5’8” 145lbs with a short waist and long inseam, they are perfect everywhere. They are warm and easy to move in, lightweight, and easy on and off. I think they will be nice to ride horses in for the winter, also. LOVE these and so glad I have them!
Great, warm bib - in a long inseam!
I searched far and wide to find a womens ski bib in a tall inseam. I love Mountain Hardware products - I could live in my puffy jacket - so when I found this ski bib I was thrilled. I wore the bib last week snowmobiling in a North Idaho snow storm and stayed warm! I love the hand warming function at the top of the bib. Very comfortable overall. The large fits a little big for me but I'm happy with the purchase. My only wish is that the medium size also came in a tall inseam - I think the medium would have fit better - not all tall women are large. Overall, happy with my purchase and would recommend.
Love
These bibs are great, I ordered a large. I’m 5’8” 164 lbs, hourglass shape. I have a really hard time with snow pants, and have been shopping for bibs forever. I’ve got bigger thighs, so finding something that fits and comfortable for movement is really hard. Went up in size to a large because I like to layer. Also feel like I’d need to layer with these because they aren’t very thick. Love the way they fit, they do gap a lot in the back above the waist but I kind of expected this going up in size, also a classic issue of mine.
Love these Bibs!
Ordered these on a Tuesday and they arrived on Friday just in time for a weekend ski getaway. The purple color is great and they are very comfortable. Love the placement of the pockets. The side zippers make it easy to unzip to use the restroom without even having to take the suspenders off. But... I do wish there was a snap at the top of the side zippers to prevent them from unzipping during a lot of movement while skiing. Also, they seem very waterproof after two days of skiing the glades. Highly recommend these.
Nice Bibs
I am 5'2" and 135 lbs & always a medium or size 8 in pants. However, when I originally ordered these bibs in a Med Short, they were way too tight. I had very minimal room in the torso, rear & thigh area, yet the top & length fit fine. I had to return this size for a Large Short, which is crazy someone my size had to do so. I like to be able to layer under my bibs, and the large size allowed me to do so. Beyond the sizing issue, these bibs performed great after a day of skiing fresh pow. The rear unzips to go to the bathroom easily and the pockets held my belongings throughout the day. The only functionality issue was the straps slide off the hook pretty easily if not fully tightened, which I did figure out pretty quickly. All in all a great bib - just remember to size up!
Great for the price point
135 lb, 5'6'' female with athletic build/bottom heavy and long torso. I first ordered these in a small and had to return because I didn't have enough freedom of movement to bend down. The material feels very nice and the medium fit well although it could have used a smidge more length in the torso. The main issue is that I exclusively snowboard in resorts and these aren't super warm. They have some insulation but my knees and butt get cold on the lift when its below 30 out or windy/stormy conditions. I ultimately decided to keep because they do prevent snow from getting in if I fall, they are comfortable and feel well made especially for the price, and the shoulder straps hook in instead of velcro which I feel will last longer. I would advise buying the warmest thermals you can find if you are going to be in very cold resort conditions. Boarding in 45-50 degree sunny weather was great with these! The legs have a loose/baggy fit so also something to take into account if you prefer a slim fit pant.
The best!
Literally love this bib. It's so cute and comfy, I wish I could wear it everyday as if it's normal to wear not in the snow! But until that day comes then wearing it snowboarding is just fine! Definitely would buy another in other colors if I could.
Great Outdoor Sport Bibs
I bought these because I was sick of low-cut women's snowpants that constantly let snow in and aren't very forgiving for a mom whose weight fluctuates a bit. These bibs are exactly what I was looking for! They are comfortable, fit perfectly, don't allow snow in and are warm. I am 5'3" and 140 lbs and the Medium Short were a great fit. The zipped sides take a little getting used to, but I love the hand warmer function. I've skied and hiked in deep snow with them and am one very happy customer!
Great bib, could use enhancements
I love this bib so much that I bought it twice (in two different sizes). I love that it comes in different lengths! I'm 5'2" and most ski bottoms are massively too long. The short length of these is just about perfect, definitely not too short. That said, I do question the placement of the belt loops on this item. I find, if I'm wearing the braces at the right length, the belt loops are way too high, but if I drop the braces down to where the belt should ride, the entire garment is too low. Additionally, the accessibility of the full side zips is nice, but they don't always stay in place and I've had to tie 2 out of the 3 zipper pulls together to prevent snow from getting into my pants at the thighs. Totally workable, and not worth complaining about day to day, but could use some improvements in future iterations of this product.
