I don’t know what’s wrong with these boots
In 3yrs I have had 3 pairs of this boot , the Carmel and navy tip, Carmel&green tip which I don’t think they make anymore. And for some reason 5he bottoms always fall apart or get some kind of hole. I don’t wear them that much to have this happen.
Not and about
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased 3 pairs of these. Two last season and one the end of September. I wear these for work so they do get worn. I live in Seattle so they are great for the rain! Not just casually. All 3 wore holes in the heels. I love these boots. They are cute and not heavy rain boots. I wish the soles were not so thin.
Better than I expected.
I bought them and was unsure of the size. Based on other reviews I orders a half size up than my normal size. Glad I listened to the others as it’s a great and comfortable forterabke fit. No breaking in needed and colors match with everything. Perfect for my daily walks with baby.
Bad quality made
I bought these two days and not even within 24 hours on my right foot on the right side of the boot it was coming apart :( I love these boots with all my heart but I’m really sad that this happened and I have contacted the company through email. I hope this gets resolved.
QUALITY YOU CAN TRUST!
Came across Sorel when living in Montana in 1991. I needed boots that took care of my feet in the extreme elements in the weather there. What I found in Sorel was what I trust to this day: quality construction, reliability with durability, excellence in the material used to build their outstanding brand. When you put them on you can feel all those reasons why I choose no other brand to care for my feet when needing to battle the elements of Mother Nature! The care & quality are unchallenged and serve their purpose above and beyond the intended purposes. I wear them with pride and confidence that I am prepared to overcome the land mines of the weather!
Cute boots!
I've had these boots for about a month and I really like them. Overall, I would recommend them and purchase them again. See more details below: PROS: - Comfortable right out of the box - Not too hot - Waterproof - Cute, look just like the picture - Feel like they're made from high quality materials CONS: - Run too small (typically I'm a 7.5 but needed to size up to a 8.5) - Look just like picture - Wear thick socks if you want them to be super warm - The ankle allows some snow to sneak in, so careful in deep snow - The sole is a bit slick on wet car mats, grip isn't great - Don't come in wide, which I would prefer
There could be one improvement made
I ordered the Elk color and they are true to what is pictured. Also, I’m usually a 5.5 or 6 shoe size. I ordered the 6 and they fit great. I do have slightly narrow feet so there is a little extra room width wise My only complaint for these shoes is there isn’t any cousin inside the bottom of the shoe what so ever. I needed something to keep my feet warmer in the fall instead of drafty sneakers. They absolutely kept my feet warm today wearing them for the first time in colder weather. But walking around in them you can feel every bit of the ground you’re walking on. I bought inserts to make the inside of the shoe more comfortable and that did the trick.
Great Little Boot
This was my 1st pair of Sorel boots. I read a lot of reviews before deciding to go with this brand. Most of the reviews said to order a size and a half up, so I did. The half size up was a great fit. I wore then for about 5-6 hours initially to run errand on a chilly day due the rain. my feet were dry and comfortable. I initially thought the rim of the boot would run against my ankle and be uncomfortable, it wasn't at all. the boots are very stylish and looked great with my skinny jeans and jacket. Overall the boots are very comfortable and well built. If you are interested in this boot do order a half size up, you wont regret it.
Nice and warm!!
I have been looking into buying these for awhile now. I just wasn't sure what size to order because I have pretty wide feet and I wear 10, 10.5 or 11 depending on the shoe. so I spent several days reading lots of reviews and finally settled on size 11 which I am so glad I did they fit PERFECT. also after wearing for a couple hours theu seemed to have stretched out width wise which was nice.. I absolutely love these little booties!! however I have not had the chance to try them in the rain.. bit either way i love them and will be ordering more.. also I am really trying to figure out what the color MAJOR is closer to?? more of a brownish or army greenish???
Too big and not much support
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased and I'm having to return a size 9.5. I based this on my recent experience with Sorel Explorer Joan when I purchased a size 8.5 then 9 and would have to return for size 9.5. However, these do not run as narrow as the Explorer Joan and have a wider toe box. For those of you like me trying to decide on size by reading reviews: My normal Brook running shoe is 9 and my normal dress shoe is 8.5. This would be my 2nd pair of Sorels. My first pair I have had, loved and worn for over 12 years. However, these boots have very little support as compared to my other boots and my feet were very sore just wearing them around on tile flooring in my house.
