Flattering, Versatile, and Comfortable!
This sweater is very comfortable. It is a waffle print sweater with a light fleece lining. I have worn this for lounging, hiking and running errands and it has been perfect. It fits true to size and is more flattering than I had expected. Previous reviews have mentioned piling but I have washed this a handful of times and it still looks and feels as if I just pulled it out of the packaging. The only reason why I gave this four stars is because I wish the fleece was a little thicker inside the sweater (not a deal breaker). I am 5’3’ and 110-115lbs and ordered this in the chalk color.
Soft but structured looking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the tweed look of this but it is not tweed. It is fleece. I also love the tiny bit of stiffness with the turtleneck. I really hate a turtleneck that slouches so this looks really nice and structured. Sleeves are a bit longish but I like that. I love this top so much I'm ordering it in Olive and Nocturnal
Black and white is great, the blue not so much.
I bought the black and white one this fall and loved it so much I bought it in blue. The blue one started pilling the 1st time wearing and now is so bad that I only wear it at home. The black and white one I would give 5 starts and the blue one 1 star.
Amazing! But....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this top on in store on a whim. It is by far way more attractive in person/wearing! It is so cozy, not binding, but not as boxy looking as this photo. I tried on the XS in black cherry. There was one thing that was a huge deterrent and that is the length of the sleeves! They are extremely long, and this is something I usually have difficulty with the opposite way. I am 5'8, a thin build and have very long arms so everything is always too short. To have a little extra length is so great as I never find that, however this has so much fabric extending over my fingertips. There is no way to push the sleeves up and have them feel comfortable or stay. Re-do this factor, and this top gets an A+.
Cozy
It's pretty cozy and thick, I reallylike the neck. It has kind of a short/wide cut, not the most flattering if you're thick. The drop shoulders have a thick seam and bug me. I will be returning it. I am wearing an XL.
Own in two colors!
I love love love love this sweater! The quality is amazing and it is so soft inside! I love the white oatmeal color (off white) and the blue with black lines!
Perfect for cold days!
Love the thick warm fabric! It can be dressed up or down for so many different looks.
fleece pullover
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this top. The fabric makes the it look like a herringbone wool sweater. But it's a soft, comfortable and washable fleece turtleneck sweater. While I agree with another reviewer that the sleeves are long, I rolled mine twice to reveal a contrasting color underneath. That's likely what the designer intended. Not a reason to pass on this purchase at all. I sized up to a Large, though I'm generally a medium. I didn't regret that. It's meant to have a boxy fit, not a clingy one. And the Large didn't make the sweater too long for my 5'6" self.
Love, Love, Love it!
Love, love, love it! So much, in fact, that shortly after putting it on I went online and purchased another color! The shape is pretty boxy, so not ideal for every body type, but it looks terrific on my boyish figure. The colors are beautiful and, as far as comfort... it's like wearing fuzzy happiness. Thanks to recently using the KonMari method to tidy, I had only clothing that I love when I purchased this, but it jumped to the top of my winter list the second I put it on. For the right person, this is the best fleece top EVER!
Cozy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this top first time I wore it. Received it for Christmas. It is fleece, but smooth and very cozy as well as warm. It fits true to size, just is a relaxed fit and boxy, not meant to be close fitting. I am 5'5" and 149lbs. I wouldn't want smaller size as I think it would just be shorter and I like the length, falls at lower hip on me. The downside is now that I've had it a month and a half, it has pilled pretty badly so the edges of the sleeves look ratty and there are small little pills all over it just from rubbing against things. I wash it inside out, but doesn't seem to help. All in all, it's warm and cozy so I wear only at home now. The other thing is that the neck is high enough it catches on dangle or hoop earrings sometimes. I wouldn't recommend if paying full price.
