Ineffective
Purchased 5 bottles for a long overland trip in malaria prone African countries. Huge mistake. This spray was useless against mosquitos; I was mauled and had to borrow others’ DEET. Also, others around me had big reactions to the smell of this spray, even one had an uncontrollable coughing fit. Really want to return as these aren’t cheap.
Good for Florida evenings
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in Florida , my young son plays outside almost every evening. In the summertime, bugs seem to be everywhere. We are always looking for ways to avoid multiple mosquito bites. This product offers pretty good protection. We were outside for about 3 hours and had only one small mosquito bite. I have always been concerned about the chemicals in other bug spray products. I like that this spray is DEET free. The bug spray dried evenly and was easy to apply. It had a strong smell similar to citronella but it wasn’t overpowering. Again, the smell was better than the chemical bug spray smell you find other products. Overall I really like how the bug spray works.
Didn’t work at all for me
The insects seemed to think I was a salad bar. I returned the product. Smells great, though.

I do not like using products that has harmful chemicals and this one uses all natural plant based ingredients. It works for up to 6 hours and it's DEET FREE! The bugs have been horrible this summer and you can't even go out for 2 minutes without the mosquitos terrorizing you. I spray this on and no bugs bother us! It's amazing! I will definitely keep this in stock in our home! Highly recommend!
Works good, smells bad.
Worked well with keeping the bugs away, but the smell was too much. You could smell this product from 20 feet away on the trail, and it made my wife's pack smell like bug spray for a long time.
not happy with this repellent
Went hiking in Yosemite this summer and had great hopes for this repellent. Unfortunately, it didn't work at all for us.
Find someone else to exsanguinate!
Mosquitoes were BRUTAL at Lk. Wenatchee this year but this kept them at bay. I’m normally covered in bites in those swarms. Not this year!
Works great safe for the entire family

MOSQUITOES FEAR ME
I have NEVER found a repellent that works as well as this one does. The scent is great- really fresh and it doesn’t smell like ANY chemicals. The spray is evenly distributed and as soon as the first drops hit my skin all the mosquitoes nearby fly away in fear. I’m usually a magnet for any bites but after this? Clear skin baby!!!!!
Leak top
Very leaky top; every time I tried to use it, some product would come out the sides and get all over my hands. On top of which, it didn't keep away the gnats.
