Perfection!
I’ve struggled finding a vest that’s functional, warm, but is also fitted well. I took a chance and ordered this online and it hasn’t disappoint! It’s incredibly warm, but also stylish. I’m 5’4, 170 and ordered a large. It fits perfect with a sweatshirt on under.
I’m a toasty marshmallow
This has been one of my favorite purchases. I love the versatility of this vest and how well it does at keeping me insulated. I recently hiked in 50° weather with hail and wind- this kept me so warm! It’s also my “must have” for camping.
Weird color
The cut isn’t very flattering and the color is downright odd. It’s not really gray; it’s nearly beige but not quite. I feel as if I look like spilled oatmeal. I’ll probably keep it because it’s practical for some weather, but may mostly wear it around the house. I like Smartwool products a lot but this one is a near miss.
not as nice as the photo
i liked the cut and style and sherpa part of the vest. some others had indicated it ran large so i ordered the xs. it was too small. also, i did not like the material on the outer pockets.....made the vest look cheap.

really nice but enormous. I'm usually a Small but It fit more like a medium or large, didn't think the XS would work either.

The nylon spoils the fit and breathability
The merino wool is attractive, nylon not so much.
