Great oversized shirt for the ladies too!

I'm a fan of the "boyfriend" fit, and am usually a size S/M in Columbia women's product. This men's style looked very cozy to me so I bought the Olive Green Camo color way in a Small. This button-down is so comfortable, warm, and lightweight and gives me a slim yet perfectly oversized silhouette. It is perfect for a mid layer, with a t - shirt or camisole underneath. I usually pair this with leggings or skinny jeans, and Sorel boots. This shirt makes me feel stylish and the camo and tweed prints are on trend for both men and women this season. All in all, very happy I found this piece!

Good looking and well made, but has some quirks

Overall the product is well made and the Spruce Multicheck is a great color. The fleece is heavier than I expected, so it's good and warm, more like a jacket than a shirt. The fit is also more like a jacket than a shirt. I'm usually between a Small & Med, but this size small fits loose overall, and the sleeves are just a little too long so they bunch up. This is made worse by the super small cuffs, which create kind of pirate shirt look. You can't wear this over a sports watch, and someone with big wrists is going to find it constricting, especially if you want to wear a long sleeve base layer under it. Overall I'd prefer a slightly lighter fabric and trimmer fit, with more room at the cuffs.

Solid Shirt Jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this shirt jacket. It is basically a robust fleece shirt, and thus is a little less robust than a jacket or even the average shirt jacket. That being said, I can't complain much for the price. I will agree with other comments that say it runs small. I am a large generally, but I have long arms 36in and these sleeves are probably 35in at most. Also, the body is a little short, I am a 42L suit. that being said, this functions great as a LA jacket in the "winter"

Cool and functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been a big fan of Columbia fleeces for quite a number of years now. My wife laughs at me because I always wear them and have several different colors. They're just comfortable and I wear them on the weekends, at work, and I also take them backpacking. So I feel like it can be casual wear and also is very functional for outdoor activities which I do quite often. Then I saw a button-up version and that got me to thinking. Maybe I could step outside of my comfort zone. Well I wouldn't say this is something that I would wear to work (camo version)I would most certainly where it backpacking, yard work, or just casual around the house and on the weekends. I may buy another color which looks like maybe would be suitable for work as well. Material is very comfortable and is warm. I like the option of buttoning the top or leaving it on button for more ventilation. I give this project a home run.

Very Disappointing

Two problems: (1) Cuffs very tight - can barely fit over wrist using the button for the larger opening. If there were more material (which there isn't), the buttons could have been moved. (2) Material is such that it isn't easy to slip over one's shirt (the whole idea for an overshirt!)

Great indoor and outdoor over shirt

Great shirt, I wear it all the time normally over a short sleeve shirt when its cold inside and under a jacket when its cold outside. Helps to block the wind to keep you warm. Only other thing I would mention is my dog's hair sticks to it pretty bad. Not a deal breaker I would recommend!

Very Happy

I’m 6 ft 195 lbs. I ordered a Large. It’s a perfect fit. The shirt is made well and I have full range of motion. It’s warm but not wind resistant. It’s perfect for an hour long walk in 40 degree temps. I use a light shell if it’s windy.

Warm and soft

I love this shirt. It’s heavy and soft. Could be worn as a light jacket, but it’s very comfortable as a shirt on chilly days. Great for the couch. The fit is as expected, not oversized at all. If you have doubt, order a size up.

Fleece Overshirt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this shirt for my wife as I already had one. She easily gets cold so I figured she would like this shirt. She wears it most days and every evening. It is a great shirt - light in weight but very warm in function.
