Love this jacket!

This jacket is perfect! I am 5' 5" and weigh 125 lbs. I have wider hips and it fits beautifully. It does not ride up and hangs slightly lower in the back which is perfect for my build. It is not the usual boxy puffy coat and I like the fact that it give me a shape rather than looking like a box. The jacket fits nicely under another coat if I need additional warmth. Additionally, the jacket stuffs right into one of the pockets and tucks neatly in my carry-on suitcase, backpack or tote. And if the need be I can us it as a pillow. This jacket definitely rivals any Patagonia, which I have a couple. Seriously consider this jacket! Glad I did!

Best Fit

This jacket needs some serious love to let people know how good it is. I have been searching for a good hiking/backpacking insulated down jacket and I am so glad I took the chance. The reason why I, and I assume others, haven't taken the chance on it is because it's listed as best use for "camping". This jacket is so much more. I tried on so many other brands that just didn't accommodate the hip area. This jacket is very true to size, not snug on the hips, and is perfect over a base layer, and if needed a vest and fits perfectly under a wind stopper and/or rain jacket. It's not listed but it is packable in the hand pocket with the double zipper. Perfect down insulated layer with a piece of mind knowing I'll be warm without the bulk or restricted movement.

microratio down jacket

The jacket fit is overall too large based on the fit chart. I ordered a large based on the chart, but definitely need a medium. The jacket is shiny, which wasn't apparent to me in the photo - and shiny definitely wasn't my preference. The color is also less of the powder/sky blue than appeared in the photo. It's more "bright seafoam" than blue. And finally, the weight and warmth is less than anticipated. I was hoping for something a bit warmer. Needless to say, I am returning the jacket and looking for something else. By saying that I would recommend this product - I mean to say that the quality was fine, but it just didn't meet my needs.

Great multifunctional down jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The micro ratio is a great technical jacket and around town jacket. I'll take it hiking or climbing and then immediately out to dinner. It has an awesome stowaway pocket which makes it convenient to take anywhere! I'm 5'3" 130lbs and the med fits me and my broad shoulders well. I easily have room for a sweater or something thick underneath. I would have to say that the arms fit me a little long and start hovering over my palms. This jacket is great but if the elastic around the wrist were tighter or the arm length a little shorter it would be perfect! But great for cold weather and just perfect enough for fall and spring weather. I can pretty much wear this jacket all year long!

Flattering and Functional!

Excellent all-around jacket. It is warm enough for running errands in the winter, light enough for cross country skiing on cold days and is trim enough to use under another jacket when extra insulation is required on very cold days. It is very packable and I take it along in almost any weather and for any activity. This is my second purchase of this jacket and I still wear my older one.

Cute!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coat is adorable. I love the color! In person, it is a bright pink and coral, it doesn't really appear red. It does have a bit of a smell that hasn't left yet. Hopefully that goes away with time. The bottom of the coat is a little large and gappy but I tightened it up with the draw string and it now looks great. I would buy this again.

Great puffer jacket

This jacket has nice quality, with good loft, but not taking up lots of 'puffy' circumference around your body! When zipped, it is a bit tight (sz small) around bottom of jacket (I am 5'5" tall and weigh 125 # and usually wear a small) Would like to see a two-way zipper. Nice warmth for a lightweight down jacket.

A little too thin

For the price I paid, I wish this jacket was a little thicker. This is too thin for me, I guess it is good for everyday wear. I tried it one time when the outside temperature was around 40F, I felt cold wearing this jacket.

Warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I was worried this product would not keep me warm at all, but once it arrived I instantly felt the warmth of the jacket. I was able to stay warm in the cold conditions outside.

Great jacket at a great price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great, multipurpose jacket. Fits true to size and the color was as shown. Length is mid hip, which I really like. Light weight, but warm, and very packable. I love it!
