Love the better sweaters
I love these better sweaters and this is my fourth in the hooded style. Being offered in hyssop purple convinced me to buy another one. The material is soft, warm, lightweight and I love the color. It’s my new favorite. It’s a little darker than the photo on the website showed which I was hoping for and much prettier as well. I like the slim fit and it washes well. I’m 5’5”, 128 pounds and bought the small.
The BEST!
I bought this fleece in the non-hooded version, and green. In addition to the color which is just as beautiful as the light balsamic that I am purchasing today, the fit and color and quality are outstanding. I received so many compliments on my green one that I had to come back and get another in the light balsamic! Additionally a shout out to customer service the young lady I just spoke with help me through a difficulty adding my account number to my account. The trick was to sign into the account in the upper right hand corner and then manually link it before confirming the order. Well done.
Not what I was looking for
This is not the same jacket as the Patagonia Better Sweater. It is more fitted and the arms are much shorter. It also seems to be a slightly heavier weight. I have an older version of what I thought s the same jacket which I love and wear as lounge wear around the house, walks on cold fall mornings and this jacket is not that. This is not to say that this is a bad jacket it just fits smaller and is less comfortable than what I thought it would be. The color is nice, it’s a good weight for early winter or a breezy fall day, it just isn’t the favorite jacket I was looking for.
Looks best on the thinnest people
I'm average weight and this looks dumpy on me. On my slightly underweight friend, it looks great. Otherwise, warm, and nice to have a hood. She has an oatmeal color and I have a medium/light blue.
Great sweaters
I love these sweater jackets. They're great for in between weather, cut the bite of Seattle's spring breezes nicely, and have strong pockets that hold my camera. Oh, and they fit comfortably. I now have 3vin my collection, and was delighted to get a hoodie.
Great jacket but runs small.
I love this jacket but it fits tighter than my other Patagonia jackets. I would have returned it for exchange but a Large size was not available.
ok fit, and warm but it suffered pilling after a few years of wear
Great Cool-Weather Sweater Hoodie
Love that the hood fits over my head even when I have a ponytail. I like the way it fits because I can still wear a long sleeve underneath and not feel cramped. Arm pocket with a zipper is a nice touch as are the zippers on the pockets at my torso. Keeps me warm as needed.
Lovely and Comfortable Outdoor Wear
Comfortable and well-tailored, this sweater serves as a great casual outdoor covering when I walk with my husband on a cool spring day. It has well-designed and positioned zipper pockets, too!
Hooray for a hood!
I have the same style without the hood and love it so was really happy when the hood style became available. It fits well and I’m looking forward to wearing it in cooler weather.
