the Carson cords are so perfect just enough stretch the perfect weight I am 65 yrs old and if I am not wearing my Ohua corduroy Shorts I am wearing the pants. I always think it is fake when people claim they have them in all the colors BUT I have 3 colors of shorts and 2 colors of pants an am ordering the saddle!! They do run large, my first one were size 12 and are a little roomy but I love them I ordered a 10 in my second pair and will be getting a 10 in the saddle color! I could probably wear an 8 but I like them a little bit roomier. The rise is perfect not too high not to low, dress them up or down but I do know you will not want to take them off!
No longer depressed about pants shopping!!!
In love with these pants! I got these on sale in hydro and cocoa color. The colors are way more beautiful and muted than online photos show. The cocoa is not orange toned, but a beautiful brown. I'm very glad I got them. I'm 5'5" and 128, usually a 0 or 2, with full bum, and the size 0 fit is perfect! They are a looser cut in legs and bum (which is what I was hoping for) but also extremely flattering. Good sensory experience on skin too (I don't want to be aware of my pants). They have washed up nicely too. I bought another pair in this seasons color (the pink/lavender) and they are also gorgeous. Going to try Carson jeans next. Hope they are just as good. Clothes/pants shopping is usually the absolute worst (nothing fits right) and can trigger a depressive episode (for reals). But not with these pants. Please never stop making this cut!
LOVE THESE PANTS!!!!
I originally bought a pair in the fall and ended up getting a size 10 instead of my normal 12. (I was thrilled, since I had recently lost some weight!) They immediately became my favorite pair of pants! They are not too tight, not too baggy and I get tons of compliments on them. In fact, my husband likes them so much he bought me a pair in another color for my birthday. I just turned 60 and love that these help me feel like the hip, young soul I am instead of some frumpy old lady. These are the best pants!
Great pants but watch sizing
These are the same cords as the shorts. Great baggy fit, nice length options because of cuff. However they run huge! I am a 2/4 these days but needed to go to 0. Beautiful rust color.
Very relaxed fit
These cords are super cute and super comfortable to wear. Due to the relaxed fit and design, they do run pretty big, but I didn't want to size down for fear of them being too tight. Normally I wear a 6 and so I ordered a 6 however I'm wishing I would have gone with the 4 as they have a bit of stretch to them. Think about the fit you want before ordering to determine your best size to order. Otherwise, another great product from Carve.
I like 'em loose!
I love these pants! Originally bought a size down, as suggested, and they did fit, but I wasn't wild about them. I sent them back, not sure I would like them better in the next size. A month or so later, I was thinking, "Boy, I wish I had some nice, loose, comfortable jeans, that I can wear for anything all day"--and a light bulb went off. Ordered these in my regular size and they are perfect. Loose, yes--but look great and fit fine.
Been wearing non-stop!
Ever since I bought these in the Saddle color this fall, I haven't taken them off! The color is great - it goes with everything. I thought I'd mostly be wearing these on the weekends, but I can actually easily dress them up for work, and I find I'm picking them time and time again no matter what the occasion - hanging with friends, taking kids to the park, running errands, etc. The fit is the same as the Carson Jean (my favorite denim) - so the leg is looser than my skinny jeans. I prefer this boyfriend fit, it's more comfortable and definitely trendier than my skinnies. There is slight distressing of the fabric, so it already feels worn in and cozy, which I appreciate. Also the cuff isn't tacked which I LOVE becuase I'm 5'8 and have super long legs, so I unrolled the cuffs on mine a bit to lengthen the pants. They look perfect! I'm 5'8 and 135 lbs and the size 4 fits perfect. Treat yourself to a pair of these beauties!!
Love these pants!
Absolutely love these cords. Fabric is nice, not too thick so I’m wearing in spring with sandals. They are cut a bit looser through hips and thighs which is perfect for me. I still got my normal size 6 because I carry my weight in rear and thighs, 139 lbs. 5’6”, 33in inseam. Short waisted. I also got the Carson jeans. My new favorite pants!

Didn’t work for me. I tired both the 14 & 12 and they fit much bigger than I’d expect. More so the 12 fit better in the waist but the legs were very baggy. Seemed there was about 4” of extra space in the leg that made my legs look huge. Didn’t find these flattering at all. Disappointed as they’re really cute. Returned and gave up.
Wonderful cords!
These are terrific: comfortable, with some "slouch" to them, but not too much (depends on the size you get; I imagine you can have more or less). I'm 5'9" ~134 and, based on reviews, got the size 2 (often I'm a 4). They fit exactly as I wanted--lean, but comfy, mildly slouchy. Awesome colors, too. When I can, I'll get more.
