Good grips, fasten securely
These grips are a good product at a reasonable price. They fasten securely and easily with a number 3 mm hex tool. Advice, do not loosen the fastener all the way--the nut will fall off if you do. Nonetheless the nut is easy to reconnect. Comfortable grip.

Not bad, simple & sturdy.

I've had these grips in the lime green color on my mountain bike for about a year. They are easy to install/remove/adjust and they are comfortable while riding (although I usually wear gloves). The grips haven't budget one bit on my mountain bike in the past year. I also needed some new grips for an old single speed bike, so I recently bought the same product in the dark olive green color. My only complaint is that the lime green color really shows a lot of dirt and grime. But whatever, it's mountain biking. I wiped out on the trail yesterday morning and thought I had probably damaged the grips, but they were completely intact when I checked on them.

Difference Maker

I should start by noting that I haven't gone out sampling and reviewing a whole lot of different mtb grips. However, upgraded to these on my from the even lower budget grips that came on the bike, and love the low profile and tackiness when the trail gets rough. Hasn't added the 10 horsepower to my mtn bike like I expected it too, but certainly am satisfied with the upgrade of these grips. Would recommend to anyone, especially at the mix of price point and functionality.

Not too shabby

For their price point, they're not all that bad. Given they're rubberized on the outside edge with the lock-on inside, my decision in either aluminum or rubber ended grips come down the likelihood of whether the aluminum sheers off or the rubber rips. Regardless of either choice, there's drawbacks to both.

Get a Grip!

These grips have just the right amount of grip whether wet or dry. They’re secure, stylish, and provide enough cushion without feeling mushy. Time will tell whether they break down with UV exposure. Great price, too!

grippy

purchased an ebike from rei last yr , immediately thought to replace the stock grips , they were imitations of those wrist friendly wide palm fit versions decided for the cost of the bontragers & the fact they are so squishy enough to grip at without being overhard on the palms sealed the deal bontrager-trek does a very good job with much of everything so when I saw the namesake it was easy enough to convince myself for the product just now starting to enjoy - very nice

Great grip for the price

Great grip, comfortable and stays put. 31mm must be the outside diameter because they fit perfectly on my 21mm bars.

Good grip

Easy to install and has a good feel to the grip. Note: there is a square washer on the back side.

Good Grips

I got these to replace my stock handle bars after I crashed & broke one of them where my mirror was connected. These handle bars won't allow me to install that same kind of mirror (there is no handlebar cap to remove to insert any accessory) but they feel much better than my previous bars & I simply got a mirror to attach to my helmet. I like how small they are, I still can fit through narrow gaps
