excellent lenses
Lenses are Wonderfull. I've always been a fan of polarized lenses and these are fantastic. These sunglasses have a great shape and they mostly fit my big noggin. These do pinch my head a bit but that is due to my skull size not the fault of the sungalsses.
Glare, Be Gone!
These glasses ticked off lots of boxes for me. I have a habit of buying sunglasses that fall off my face too easily, especially in high exertion activities like hiking, trail running, and rush hour traffic. I also never anticipate glare from bright indirect sunlight reflecting off water or snow, which inevitably sneaks in under my shades and blinds me. But these problems are no more! Hurrays, then nays. First off, regarding the fit - these glasses stay on my head no matter how hard I try to shake them off. The arms extend straight back and seem to grip the side of my (not too wide) face. The only "problem" or "critique" I have about the fit is the way the arms extend straight back. They don't curve around my head at all, and they also don't curve down at all to go behind my ears. Both of these design elements leave the ends of the arms sticking out a bit from the rear of my head, which makes wearing a hat a bit cumbersome. The hat tries to go over those arms, but the arms are poking out saying "no way man, this is our territory". So I have had to be picky about my hat choice when wearing these glasses. Secondly, the anti-glare polarization of the glasses is great. I live in the land of 10,000 lakes and reflective blinding light is part of our culture here. The underside of the glasses frame hugs the top of my cheek so no light bleeds in underneath, which is critical for blocking out glare. I wish I would've gotten these a few weeks earlier, because glare from snow is equally, if not more blinding. Who are these glasses for? Anglers for sure, maybe snow sportsmen, runners, and people who want to add style points at the next neighborhood bbq.
