Seems to work well
This seems to work well and the two-direction pump is smooth. It's no replacement for a floor pump but it's meant to be carried with you for emergencies or minor adjustments. The light gray dirt cover fit isn't very snug, so I'm worried dirt and water could get around it, or that it might not stay closed as it ages. Time will tell. To use on a Presta valve, you need to unscrew the nozzle end, open the lever, and reverse two internal pieces. As with all pumps that don't have a hose, be careful not to bend your valve as you pump.

Not what I need
I have been mountain biking with a backpack for the last few years and recently decided to switch to a hip pack. My thought was that a frame mounted pump would free up some space in my bag. Before saying why I don't like it, I will say that it does move air well, it feels well built, and the pressure gauge is accurate. Unfortunately, the frame mount doesn't work very well on my bike, and even if it did, this thing is probably still too bulky for my taste. Decided instead to strap the spare tube to my frame and forego the pressure gauge and theoretical pumping efficiency for a more compact pump that can easily fit in the hip pack. I don't get flats often and can dial in tire pressure well enough using hand-feel when in a pinch and my floor pump when not in a pinch. Also of concern, the combination of rigid presta valve stems, no hose attachment on the pump to allow for a little movement, and the added work of stabilizing the pump on both the in and out strokes, turns out to be problematic (or at least it felt that way to me). Even adding 5 PSI to an already inflated tire, it felt like it was more work than it was worth stabilizing the pump to prevent bending or breaking the valve stem. For me, this pump would be awesome if they added a hose attachment option and de-bulked it a little bit, but it turns out there are slicker models out there with hoses, pressure gauges, and more compact designs for about the same price. Some of them are even made by Topeak...

decent pump

It works but I probably wouldn’t buy it again. The dual action works and it fills high volume tires well enough. But it’s not great. Purchased the pump in October as of January the pressure gage no longer works. It’s on my bike for trail side fixes and I have a nice floor pump at home. I don’t hate it I guess.

Garbage build quality and durability

This pump is one of the worst quality products I’ve bought at REI. Most parts that interface with the tire valve are made out of very soft plastic which quickly deformed. the pump could then no longer depress the valve to fill a tire, which was quite frustrating. Very poor durability.

it broke immediately

Unfortunately, I needed this pump the first time I brought it with me, and the plastic connector broke immediately. I assume I got a bad unit or something, but I’m definitely disappointed. 2 stars because it seems like really nice quality, aside from the part that broke.

Read. Instructions. Before. Use.

The pump does its job. I love it! Note that it works perfectly with presta valves. You might think otherwise. There’s no detailed instructions on the package but you can look it up online.

Nice pump, but slow to fill a tire

I hope to God I never have to actually use this tire pump on my mountain bikes fat tires because it'll take a long time. The pump is build with excellence and is very compact and effective. I love the air gauge, but my old school pump from 30 years ago was much bigger, about the same weight, and 300% better at quickly filling a tire. The only exception is that they no longer make that old school tire pump.

Great pump! Had issues with the mount.

Really like the pump, it works great. Switching between Schrader and Presta takes a minute but I only need Presta so that is not an issue for me. The side mount to hold the pump on your frame broke during my second ride with it.
