I typically purchase $20-$30 sneakers/running shoes, so this was the first time I purchased "nicer" running shoes. That being said, these shoes are better than I expected them to be. They appear to be high quality, and they have kept my feet dry in damp conditions. I have run in light rain and on wet roads/through wet grass, and the shoes have provided me excellent traction. They are slightly heavier than the shoes I usually purchase, but the extra weight is 100% worth it. I have only had these shoes for a few weeks, and I will update my rating if I come across any issues or if the quality deteriorates.
Given that this is a higher end shoe, the fit is perfect. I have had other lower end Addidas Outdoor brand shoes and they always have inconsistent fit. The goretex is a little stiff at 1st, but breaks in nicely. I use these for hiking and everyday wear in the winter. They feel more like a low rise boot/hiker.
I do a lot of outdoor activities in the rain and these have kept my feet dry through the heaviest downpours I have ever experienced. These fit with more room in the toe box compared to many other Adidas styles. I tried at least 4 other Gore-Tex styles from Adidas, but the toe box was too narrow. My normal shoe size in most brands is 11.5, but I sized up to 12 for these. The only drawback to these shoes comes from using them outside of their intended purpose. I struggled to find Gore-Tex shoes for normal street use in a style I liked. These are intended for off road use, and the soles are designed around that. This makes the soles soft and grippy, but leads to fast wear on the street. That is fine with me until I can find a similar shoe for style and fit designed for street use. This is my second pair, I bought them as a backup to my current pair as it was difficult finding something the first time.
I have another Adidas Terrell that I like, but this shoe was stiff and uncomfortable. Seemed that that tongue could have used more padding as the fold created pressure on the top of the foot
I used this shoes for hiking and they are very comfortable also I use it to officiated a soccer game in a turf field and love it.
Bought these a few months ago, have ran in snow and melt off with a dry foot. Comfortable shoe with great traction and waterproofing. Ordered a 1/2 size up and while there is a little extra room at the toe the fit very well
It's perfect for the rainy place like Seattle. Bought this for my son as a birthday gift. He prefers this over other Gore-Tex pair of shoes especially for the running sessions in his PE class (high school).
Comfortable like a normal sneaker but do get a little warm when I wear them at work. Good grip. Will update this review if they end up falling apart or lose their waterproofing.
Felt very comfortable right out of the box. I have not been able to test the waterproof GoreTex yet but I am optimistic.
Great shoe, but being gore-tex they are too hot for warmer weather
