Decent Quickdraw But Prefer Wiregates

Received free product

Overall its a decent draw, but had a few flaws that wouldn't make it my first choice. Pros: No nose lip to get caught on, the dogbone is semi-rigid and thick for reachy clips. Cons: the small lip on the gate wire got caught a few times, the tension on the gate wire was more than most other wiregate/solidgate draws I've used and required more force to clip bolts/rope. The small wire slipped out alot when trying to stick clip. Overall its a decent quickdraw that was attempting to get rid of nose snag, but because of the increased gate tension/gate snag, it's not going to be my first choice on hard sends.

This QuickDraw rocks!

I love this draw! No longer does the nose get hooked on the bolts, the keylock opening takes care of that! And they are so light, put 12 of these draws on your harness and 12 of another brand the weight difference is extreme. I am not an alpine Clmber but when your hauling gear to a crag or just climbing a long route, you will appreciate the weight! I also love how easy the draws are to clip. I thought the small opening on the rope end would be a problem. But nope, works great! And since orange is my favorite color, yay!

Great, small

Perfect except these are the small carabiner. Clip well all around great. Just these are the small sized carabiner. Not "regular sized"

Quality draw, better for smaller hands!

Received free product

These draws have the high quality feel / function that you expect from Petzl, very smooth clipping. The round bar gate was a change for me, being used to wire gates and thicker bar gates, but the plastic guide on the gate works well. The 'biners and gates on these are smaller than typical, and that makes them a bit awkward for larger hands... otherwise it would be 5 stars!
