Awesome, lightweight draw
This Petzl Ange Finesse quickdraw is awesome. Love the gate and nose is designed - they work well for both sport and trad routes. The wiregate is unique in that it's only a single 'strand', and it feels good when I'm using it, with constant tension throughout the range of movement. The plastic piece at the hinge end of the wiregate is nice touch that helps guide the rope into the basket when clipping. The dogbone is easy to grab; a minor quibble is that the rubber keeper piece (which can be easily replaced if it wears out, nice!) sometimes tends to move onto the long axis of the biner. The best part of this draw is that the nose is the easiest unclipping design I've ever used! It's completely smooth with nothing to catch on a bolt. Overall, a really nicely designed draw.
Small and light; high quality draw
This is a well made quickdraw, especially for alpine adventures or if you have to hike a ways to the crag. The caribiners are on the small side, and the wire gate is more a single line rather than a loop, which helps make it lighter. I haven’t fallen on this yet, but it clips well for its size and is easy to manage. High quality gear as usual from Petzl.
Surprisingly sweet
When I first got these draws I thought that the gates looked tiny and would be a problem when clipping, I was totally wrong. They're quite light and clip smoothly. I kinda fumbled the first time using them because the feel is different than my old QDs but once my hands got used to the feel they became some of my favorite draws.
Great
Lightweight, easy to use, and seems well built and durable. I like the single wire gate which seems a little stronger and the rubber guides for the webbing. Would recommend for some weight saving.
Great, when you need to keep it light
Nice, well-handling draw. It's not going to displace the Spirit as the ultimate sport draws, but great if you're counting grams.
