this bag is great, its very warm and seems built well. its nothing fancy, the material is a little more heavy than the newer mummy bag stuff I'm used to, but i think this bag will hold up to a lot of use. it's easy to roll back up and get in the stuff sack too. probably not the best in super damp climates but it seems ok in moderate off and on rain within our tent. its warm with two people for sure, but i bet its warm with just one; and if you ever found yourself being too cold if you're by yourself, I bet you could unzip the bags, make two single bags, and then use them both, that would definitely keep you warm if you were to find yourself in the teens degree wise. My partner and I each bought the REI camp dreamer ultra plush camp pads, we bind them together and use this bag, and it is very plush car camping for sure.
We love this bag. Good deal and keeps us warm. Generally we only camp down to 40 degrees at state parks, so we've always felt warm. Not sure if it would be good colder, but I'd risk down to 30. Love that it zips apart into 2 bags for easy washing. Roomy enough for my husband and I and our toddler between us, which is why we transitioned to a double bag. It's pretty big to store but you can cinch down the bag when you need to pack it. Fits perfectly on top of Exped double wide pad.
My husband and I have not yet used this sleeping bag outdoors, but while using it indoors it seems very warm and is very comfortable. I was surprised at how big the bag was inside. My husband and I are not petit people, but there was still plenty of room between us in the bag. I think there was even enough room for our 2 year old son to sleep between us if he gets cold! The quality seems great and I am excited to use it for our summer camping trip in July near Silverton, CO!
