Deluxe like a real down pillow
This down-topped pillow is really comfortable. It’s like your favorite bed pillow. The Deluxe’s dimensions are close to a standard sized pillow, but still packs down to a thick beer can and is still very light. I switched from the Large, which I found too small. The material is light and the down-side is very smooth, but durable and well manufactured. I’ll use it for backpacking, car camping, as well as travel.

Hard as a rock. Totally worthless.
I've used this now on three camping trips, and I should've learned my lesson after just one. Yes, this packs up VERY small, but it is unbelievably uncomfortable for sleeping. It's slippery on the top and bottom, and is hard as a rock. Even with less-than-full air, it's still too hard. It truly is terrible.

Lite, Quiet, and Comfortable

This pillow is hands down the best backpacking pillow I’ve ever used. The moment you lay your head on its soft, down-filled surface, you feel like you’ve brought a little slice of luxury into the wilderness. Unlike many inflatable pillows, this one is incredibly quiet—no rustling or crinkling sounds to disturb your sleep. It elevated my backpacking experience without adding significant weight to your pack. For just a few extra ounces, you get a full night’s rest that rivals the comfort of your bed at home. The combination of the soft down top with the supportive air bladder creates the perfect balance of plushness and firmness. I do enjoy reading before going to sleep. I’ll need to see if I can partially inflate it so I can fold it in half to raise my head.

Luxurious Pillow

I bought the Delux size and tested it by sleeping on it at home. Slept well and no headache or neck ache when I woke up. No issues with noise. The cover is not removable and the cloth over the down looks like it would show oils so I used a pillow case. Has both an inflow valve and a quick release valve. Over all very happy. I expect the large would have been fine as well. This size looks too big to tuck inside your sleeping bag.

In LOVE!!

I own several Thermarest pads. I don’t miss slipping and sliding on pad or hearing potato chips crunch. LOVE my new “Sea to Summit pad and pillow”. Needed this 10 yrs ago.

Lightweight backpacking pillow

I got the regular size just based on my personal preference but if you like larger pillows I'd recommend sizing up. Once I was able to adjust the inflation properly to suit my needs it was incredibly comfortable. It packs down to basically nothing, about half the size of a can of soda. The down on the top of it just gave you a little extra comfort where you needed it. My only gripe is that the draw string for the stuff sack wasn't stitched into the actual stuff sack properly so it just pulled through leaving me with a bitter end of line hanging but everything still functions fine. The order came quick and would highly recommend the product.

Love hate relationship!

For an air pillow it is great! Small easy to just toss in your pack. I found the air to sort of move, so as I would roll over, the pillow would move, kind of like what a water bed feels like. (For those of you old enough to know what a water bed was like.) I filled it full, I tried to let air out. It is a return for me, but for other people in our group they loved it. Pillows are personal, so try before you buy! Great product, just not for me!

Comfortable with decent weight

Switched from Aeros Premium (regular size) to this (large size). With slightly more weight, this is much more comfortable. Your head would press the center of the pillow down, just like sleep on a regular pillow. Aeros Premium instead is taller in the center than edge, which does not support the head well.

Sweet dreams

When I bought this pillow I thought it would be over kill, but to my surprise, I slept better than usual. Rolled up in its duffle bag it the size of a fat soda can and extremely light.

Bike packing essential

3 puffs full, 69 grams, fits stuff sack compressed in the palm of your hand. Provides essential neck relief after multiple long days in the saddle. Yeah, you can go cheaper but if your ride is dependent on a good nights sleep and neck relief the Aeros is an outstanding option. Aeros pillow down REGULAR.

Larger pillow for backpacking

I have used several pillows for backpacking. Most seemed to be a bit too small to get a comfortable nights sleep. I found I was fighting to keep it under my head and adding a jacket or other item as well to give it extra lift. Though the packing size of others was smaller I have downsized a lot in gear so I figured I would give the Aeros a try. Amazing difference. I slept way better and the pillow had plenty of room for a bit of the toss and turn. My only downside is the sleeping bag like cloth on the top. It is too slick and odd for me. I will add a light pillow case just to put a layer between and also help keep the pillow cleaner. Great addition to my pack. I was able to add it and my sleeping quilt to a sm compression sack and compress all the way.
