Phenomenal
Bought these with a pair of the most popular hiking shoes for the highline trail in Glacier National Park. The shoe did not live up to the expectations and had to use these sandals for the hike. I should tell you these performed better than i expected. Obooz has nailed it with the design. Would recomment this to anyone looking for hiking sandals.

Did not hold up on the first trip
I bought these for a river rafting trip down the Colorado. The toe strap broke off on day 2 of a 6 day trip. While they are very comfortable, they will not hold up to challenging activities.

Good sandals. But not sturdy enough.

I bought a pair of these two years ago after being disappointed in how long a couple of pairs of Tevas lasted. These lasted longer than the Tevas but not by much. The tab by the big toe that holds the strap over the forefoot ripped out last Sunday, just before my big hiking vacation, so I had to use my Keen hiking shoes for the trip. Admittedly, I wore them in the water a lot, since I live near the river and my dogs love to go into the water. Also, once my dogs (two 70lb shepherd-mixes) go swimming, they get a little hyper and want to sprint so I need to brake to hold them back and that puts a lot of stress on the sandals. That said, I think I'll get another pair and perhaps try to keep out of the water.

Great sandals

These are great sandals for outdoor activities. They are gripped like a hiking boot but have an open air feel perfect for water activitys or hot weather. I used these while kayaking in a shallow river to often get out and drag my kayak through the parts too shallow and they dried quick and did not hold an odor.

Great hiking sandal

Decided to try these on a whim after years of wearing Tevas and have been very impressed so far. They've been my go-to for both hiking and casual use for over 2 years with no major damage.

Watch out Chacos and Tivas

Killer sandal. Hold up just as good as any other sandal out there and half the price. Obos just keep continuing to amaze me

sizing runs small

Just got these, so I can't speak from long experience wearing them. The arch support seems quite good. There are some points in the strap system that seem to rub a little strangely, but they may just take some breaking in. The big surprise was how small they are. I got the men's size 10 and the sizing chart indicated that it compares to the European size 43; however, the box they come in says 42.5. Fortunately, I usually get my sandals a little small because I have narrow feet.

Lightweight sandal

Great lightweight sandal option new to the market. This will be a great camp "shoe" on backpacking trips.
