Captures sweat
This buff does a good job at reducing some of the sweat on my face. It’s very comfortable to wear and doesn’t leave red or itchy marks on my skin. Plus, it’s super lightweight. I only wear this on my head and never around my neck so this is a good size. I like this size better than the headband for summertime because it seems to collect more sweat. The only complaint I have is that the fabric isn’t soft enough for me to wear this around my wrist and wipe sweat from face; the fabric is too abrasive for my face. Didn’t dock stars for this since this isn’t really designed for wiping your face, although it would be nice.
Great buff, as always
It was pretty comical and sad to read the negative reviews on the buff products, about it not being hemmed, low quality, or just ‘ok’ as a face mask.... The buff is a great product that was engineered to be sturdy *without* seams or hems for zero agitation. I’ve had two other UV half buffs, a full buff, and a wool buff for years and they’ve all held up amazingly even through strenuous use. Felt like a new color and this buff is high quality, as they always have been. (And yes, if you’re wearing it around your neck it’s easy to pull up over your nose and use as a face mask, which is especially beneficial on trails when you’re wearing it to keep your neck cool and don’t want to lug around a true mask on your bike/run/hike).

Perfect to keep on the neck when I am running trails and easy to pull up to my nose if I come across someone. It is also perfect to use when I am paddling. I love it doesn't have any seems, because it is less junk to irritate my skin. It is a tube without any seems at all! Awesome! I agree the price could be less. I would prefer if it did not have any CoolNet UV chemicals. I don't need chemicals around my neck, face and neck. Overall I love this headband! The first ever headband that I can use on my head and not slide off my hair!!! The size is 9.5" high x 9.5" wide. Very stretchy, light and dry in few seconds. I don't think it is a CDC recommended mask for COVID, but it is better than nothing when I am in the woods alone and see another person.
Great Face Mask
I bought this after it was linked on Runner's World to use as a face mask while running. I never write reviews, but as I still see a lot of runners (here in Boston where there is a lot of COVID and popular/crowded running routes) without one, I wanted to recommend it. It takes a few runs to get used to, but it is lightweight and breathable and rinses out easily so you can clean it and dry it between runs. I've tried a bunch of different options and this is far and away the best.
Hiking and as a mask
I bought this one year ago and have used it so much since then It hasn't discolored It washes very easily and dries quickly it's easy to pack doesn't take up much space. It's multifunctional, I can use it while hiking to keep my hair out of my face or to keep my body temperature cool. I keep wetting it and wearing it around my neck, around my head, or around my wrists. Loved it during COVID because I wore it as a mask everywhere. Looking forward to using it again as we start hiking in the mountains in June.
Nice for keeping sweat off face
This headband works well to absorb the sweat and keep it out of my eyes. I don't feel it makes my head hot either. I wash it in the shower after hiking. It doesn't smell and hasn't lost any coloring. I dropped one star off it because the price in the store is $5 more in value than I would give this small piece of fabric. But that's my opinion of value. I would recommend it but let people know it's a bit overpriced.
Great little Buff
This buff was lightweight and awesome. The one I bought was more white than anything and I soaked it in Permethrin on my last trip since I was headed into tick country. It kept my head free from ticks!
Workout like a boss, without hair fuss!
Short hair, don't care! This headband has been extremely liberating! I struggled with my long bangs always getting in my way during yoga and workouts. I didn't want to rock too much hairspray or bobby pins. and constantly sweeping my bangs out of the way was beyond distracting. This headband protects me from UV rays and bad hair days! Side note: My 3rd eye really digs having an OM on it as well :)
Perfect face covering - essentially half a Buff
A regular Buff is terrific but has a little too much material for comfortable mandated face coverage. The "headband" is essentially a half-length summer-weight Buff; it covers nose and mouth and stays in place; is cool and absorbent and breathable; and folds to handkerchief-sized pocketable bundle. The best solution I've found.

The Buff keeps the Sun off my head and ears, in the summer and keeps my neck warm in the winter. It's also makes a great dust cover for my electronics. Thanks for a cool product.
