My fave running pants after 35+ years of running!
So like most, I did a fair amount of research on running pants before purchase. I’m not a fan of tights, but I do have a pair. I like lightweight, wind resistant, breathability, and weather protection. These pants gave me all of it and more. Just had them put for 3 hours in a trail run in a mix of no snow, light snow and ice as well as wet slop which is pretty typical Pennsylvania Winters anymore. Temps ranged from low 30’s at the start to low 40’s by the end. I felt comfortable start to finish. Fit is great...when I lose the 20 COVID pounds I put on they may run a little large on me but that’s fine. For my current specs, they fit well. I wanted something more akin to a soft shell pant with better weather protection and appears this is it!!

Very disappointed
I bought these because the Cormac (which I really like) has been discontinued. These pants are nowhere near as nice looking and feeling as the Cormac. The Cormac is made of very soft, stretchy fabric that stays smooth and is super comfortable. The Incendo fabric is less stretchy and feels similar to light rain pants. Also holds creases and looks baggy and wrinkled. Will be returning.

Wait... No zippers?

Ordered these pants for an upcoming trip and was pretty excited. Pants arrive and theres no zippered front pockets like the picture or even the leg cuff draw string. Maybe I received an older version.

Stretchy, windproof, water resistant, breathable g

Love these pants, they fit amazingly well and are so light. My last trip with them was a four day backpacking trip on the Washington Coast. We experienced a lot of fog, drizzle, and chilly wind, and hot sun while we scaled headlands and traversed miles of boulders and seaweed-strewn rocks. These pants rocked the house, so comfy and highly performant.

Inconsistent!!!

There is a front zipper and a stretch on the trousers in the picture of the trousers, but in fact, there are no goods received. Dissatisfied shopping experience, very unrecommended!

Perfect Hiking pants

I bought these for backpacking. Normally I wear shorts but got tired of sunburned and scraped up legs. Light and minimalistic. I don’t need front pockets. The right rear pocket is perfect for my lighter when in camp. The legs taper so no need for a closure system. Spent 5 days backpacking in Montana rain and heavy brush. And then 5 days fly fishing in Utah through weeds and trees. No rips or tears. They dry quickly. I could probably wear a Medium. The Large fits me better since I don’t care for tights, this allows for a loose fit. 5’11” 175lbs 33” waist. Just ordered a second pair. Hiking shorts be gone!

Slick

It's sometimes difficult to gauge sizing - especially across the Arc'teryx line. These are labeled "trim". I'd say that's a right one assessment - especially in the legs. They're just close enough to the skin, but not as snug as a compression tight (by far). I'm a solid 32/33 waist and the M is perfect. I'm also a 31" inseam and these are just right as well. The waist comes up just high enough to not ride down while you're running or sitting, but I feel a slight pull in the seat of the pant itself - nothing too concerning. Overall, a nice pair of pants to run with in moderately cool weather like an early morning or something. Great for walking around as well.

Amazing for everything

These are amongst the perfect pants for my outdoor needs. Super comfortable stretchy and lightweight. In particular I use them all the time at the climbing gym but they are also my go to 3 season pant in Colorado. Everything from multi-pitch to scrambling to backpacking are things I do in these pants in addition to the gym. It is simply hits all the notes of comfort and versatility. Love them. Once I absolutely wear out the two I have now, I will buy more of these.

Lightweight versatile pant

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Picked up a pair of these on a warranty claim after the stitching in a previous pair of Arcteryx running tights started to let go. The model of tights I was replacing was no longer available so I opted to go with the Incendo. These have proven to be a great versatile pant that can be used as a standalone trail running pant with just enough room underneath to fit a baselayer for colder temperatures. Compared to running tights, these pants are just as comfortable around the house or at the grocery store as they are on the trails. My only critique of this product is that labyrinth color has a tendency to show sweat moisture in a not so flattering area, so if available go with black!
