Cute
Got this for my hike of the PCT this year. Super comfy except the straps do dig in to my shoulders a little uncomfortably, but I figured they might loosen with wear (sounds like from another review they do!). I'm glad they are not adjustable because I didn't want plastic sliders on the straps with a backpack on. Otherwise super comfy for a smaller chest, and flattering as well. I will say the size chart said I was a small, but knowing I tend to have a wider rib cage I ordered a S and M. Tried the M first and it was perfectly snug. No way the small would fit. I'm a 34A
Favorite bra
I wore this bra through my entire hike of the Pacific Crest Trail and pretty much haven't taken it off since (except to wash of course.) I will say that the straps were kind of tight initially, but with frequent wear they've become the most comfortable bra I own. I like that it's cute and I don't have to change out of it for a workout. The straps always stay put and it's overall an awesome bra if you're got a smaller chest. I'm a 34A and I've got a medium
Favorite Bra, with one improvement.
This is my favorite bra. I bought a second one at full price because I love it so much and wear it all the time. It is the perfect combination of sports bra security and comfort, without the "one boob lump" look. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because I find the straps to be slightly too short. I have broader than average shoulders, but I've read other reviews that said the same thing. However, the straps being too short isn't painful. With straps that aren't adjustable, it would be impossible to have one size that is perfect for all.
Size Issues
I tried this bra in two sizes and returned both. The XS, which is the size I should wear based on the size chart, was so small I couldn't even get it over my head/shoulders. I exchanged it for the small, which I was at least able to get on, but I heard stitches breaking both when I put it on and took it off. The fit was just okay, so that combined with the difficulty of getting it on made me return the small, too. Disappointing, because I have a different style of Patagonia sports bra that I love.
not comfortable
I love most of the Patagonia bras and have multiple styles in various colors. I have a wide rib cage and small cup size. This bra would be ok except that the straps pull on my traps uncomfortably. I wish it had adjustments to the straps tightness. I have a A cup and if you have a larger cup size this is not the bra for you. The girls will be slipping out!
Love!
I sized up based on the past reviews and am glad I did! I have been looking for a comfortable sports bra WITH cups for a while and this is it! I have a small chest and don't need much support, but prefer the extra coverage and shape of a removable cup. I typically wear an XS (in Icebreaker) or S (in Nike) and ordered a Medium and it fits like a dream. Very soft and comfortable and looked great on! Very flattering shape.
Fuller cups beware
I'm a store bought 36D and wanted something comfy to wear on my flight to Ireland. I measure 40" around the fullest part of my bust with a stocky (once athletic) build. There's a slight gap at the band but sacrifice between band vs cup with this kind of bra was expected. I would suspect a L would create a very uncomfortable dig into my shoulders since the straps aren't adjustable to allow for a bigger cup. Glad I listened to the reviews about sizing up. It's cute on but I don't expect it to support any kind of aggressive movements. It'll do what I want it for...lounging around and long hauls across the pond.
Love it!
I am 34 A and bought a small. Fits great and feels comfortable. I am going to buy a couple more. I also like that the thin pads are removable and the bra fits just as well either way.
Short straps
I’m 5’8” and ordered a large. The shoulder straps are not long enough and not adjustable. They dig into my shoulders. I’ve never had this problem with other bras. Love it otherwise, but will have to return it.
Perfect for smaller chats with low impact needs
Agree with the reviews that this is AWESOME for smaller chested gals doing low impact sports (eg hiking). Gorgeous. Gives cleavage somehow which is unheard of in sports bras. Comfy and light. Similar to other reviews, I sized up and got a M for my wider rib cage 34B frame and love the fit (typically S in other brands). I have muscular shoulders and didn’t find the straps too short, so must be fairly person dependent. Love the minimal racerback that doesn’t show under my typical workout tanks.
