Patagonia  Fleetwith Dress

I actually read the email requesting a review as I was wearing this, so this is my 100% authentic assessment! Very satisfied. This dress is great for Zoom teaching and parenting a toddler because it keeps me cool, Can look professional enough with a sweater or button shirt draped over top, and I can move around freely without fear of things getting out of place or showing something I don’t want others to see! Most importantly, the POCKETS. I love that this not only has side pockets but also a zip one. I have the fleet with rompers as well and this is a good option for when I want quick and functional but a little cuter (or cooler) than a jumpsuit. The fabric is a perfect weight and texture and it’s been a wardrobe rotation staple ever since I received it.

I have been wanting this dress for a while and the bad reviews scared me off. Happened to be in an REI and they had BLACK in stock, in my size (L). Tried it on and didn’t want to take it off. The skirt IS more fitted than the top. I wear it ‘high waisted’. Completely hides the little ‘mom belly’ pouch and is super flattering, imo on anyone. If you wear it pulled down straight with the belt part low rise it will prob look dumb. The top appears to be designed to be a little flowy. Great pockets that your whole hand can fit into. I love the fabric and will also prob wear shorts under it in the summer. Debating to stock up on more because I love it that much.

I was a bit worried about this piece due to it being unflattering on the hanger and several so-so reviews. With that said, this dress is perfect for folks that hold their weight in their middle. It looks much better on my frame than I expected. It even hides my extra weight. If you are thicker in the middle, give this a shot. It fits me nearly perfect. I wish it had shorts underneath. This would make the dress my go to.

Wow, this is the cozy, lightweight dress of your dreams. The steel blueish color is phenomenal. I wanted this dress to work so bad but I’m a solid small/4/34B up today and medium/6 on bottom. Size small fit but was too snug on the bottom for what I was going for but when I sized up to medium (photographed) it was too baggy on top.

Just got this so I can't vouch for how it holds up in various weather but can comment on the fit, material, and look. I really like how it fits. The skirt is form fitting without getting in the way since its nice and stretchy, am able to lunge without restriction. The top is a breathable, light material and has full coverage up to the arm pits so you can go bra-less without flashing anybody. The two main pockets are deep (my iPhone SE fits completely in them with a lot of extra room), and the zippered pocket is also spacious (iPhone SE fits perfectly in it) and the zipper is nice and smooth. I'm planning on wearing it as hiking, to the beach, casually, and where ever else I can; I already never want to take it off! I would say it runs a bit large, I usually wear a small but matched my measurements to a review and got an XS which fits perfectly. I'm also a little bloated currently thanks to mother nature and it's still super comfy and fits nicely. I'm pretty average/similar in the upstairs and downstairs region (S-M in bras and undies).

This dress is incredibly functional. I just got back from backpacking 72 miles over 4 days with this as my main "hiking outfit" (plus some layers for temperature drops), and it was great. There are functional pockets that can easily hold a phone, as well as a small zippered pocket. The material dries quickly - which was great when I got all sweaty hiking up mountains in 90 degree heat, and later got caught in a downpour - and dirt easily brushes off of it. The material also only got one snag from traveling a couple of miles through overgrown blackberry bushes, which is much better than my companions could say about their clothes. The photo I've included is 65 miles into the trip, and I feel like the dress still looked fresh. (The rest of me is a different matter!) I know that there are some negative reviews related to sizing. My measurements are 36-28-39 / 5'11" / 150 lbs. I tried on both the medium and large in the store, and went with the large. A medium "fit" but didn't leave enough hip room where I felt like I could have navigated over downed trees. (I wore short compression shorts underneath for hiking.) I didn't notice a substantial difference in the fit of the top between the two sizes. The top is definitely baggier than the bottom, but this was actually a plus at times. The back has a crossover design, and the airiness of the top helped me to cool off in the heat.

I LOVE the fleetwith romper, it is perfect in every way and I wear it all the time. I figured this was the same thing, just without legs. I was SO wrong. I don't understand what happened with the sizing here - the top has way too much material and is hanging all over the place, while the skirt portion is tight around my butt and thighs. The waistband is extremely bulky and doesn't seem to be the right size for the dress. After so much success with the romper I was so disappointed by this dress. For reference I'm 5'8, 135-140, and athetic/curvy build. I have the romper in a small, and tried this in a small too.

I purchased a size S from the REI second hand website. I am 5' 4 and 122lbs. I have quite a small frame up top, but the girls are D cups so I am always cautious when buying tops as sometimes I bust out. This fits nicely as it is a relaxed style, although, I think an XS may have fit a little better (a bit roomy around the middle but doesn't look bad at all). Still keeping it in this size and I know I will wear this a lot! Can't wait to do a bit of hiking in it, the fabric is so breathable and light and comfortable. I have not taken this off since it came in the mail! Very happy with my purchase.

This dress is absolutely perfect!!! Just the right length too. It may fit better on rectangular shaped bodies? I got the XS and my measurements are 33-25-35.

WOW I love this dress. It is so versatile and a must have for traveling. It can be super casual with flip flops, or dressed up a bit (I got the black color, so easier to dress it up with sandals, jewelry, etc.). The material is thin and stretchy, without looking like it is basically athletic wear. I found that I do have do do a strapless bra with this one as no strap configuration I've found hides the straps with the criss cross in the back, but not a deal breaker for me. I'm 5'3" and this is quite short on me (like I have to be super careful bending over even a little) if I wan't to wear the cinched wast at my natural waist, so if you are tall, you may want to size up.
