Awesome.
Love this pack. It’s light and not bulky. The air vent keeps you back cool. Enough road to store snakes and an extra layer of clothes or jacket. Only thing they need to change is make the hydro tub a little bit longer or add another strap between the two in the picture.

It could be better
Overall good backpack for bicycling, but with some strange decisions in design. Most annoying thing is that there are no solution to hide somewhere pipe from waterbag. You put backpack in your car, or on the floor, and that pipe is touching it, and then you will put it in your mouth. Cmon guys, was it so difficult to put some small pocket where you will keep it when it is not in use? Second thing is that bigger phones don't fit in the screen protection pocket.

It's Osprey, It's Well Thought Out

Super comfortable. It can also hold a ton or compress down to slim size depending on what you need. The best part is the "frame" that holds it off your back with a mesh airflow. No more slime back after 20 minutes in the woods. I can hold snacks for 2, 2.5 liters of water, 2 tubes, multi-tool, first-aid kit, pump, phone, keys, light, and still have tons of room to spare. My only complaint is that the buckle for the chest strap and the magnet for the tube holder are right on top of one another. It puts some torque on the magnet which makes it twist and then the tube flops. A moderate annoyance, not enough to turn me off to the pack.

Suprisingly roomy inside...

Really an amasing pack, a lot more room inside than I had anticipated & functions really well on longer trail outings superbly. Comes with Osprey's "Hydraulics" bladder + tubing which is over-engineered & is the only reason it's not a 5 star review. *Just do yourself a favor and replace the tubing with a long straight replacement tube & bite valve from Camelbak. ( Or a camelback bladder kit. ) ** if you're here, still reading this review : then you've probably already got a few spares laying around anyway. :)

Best MTB hydration pack, better then Raptor

Awesome pack, I crashed with it multiple times on MTB trails and it held up. The size of the pack is actually very thin with a full bladder. The extra pocket definitely come in handy compared to the 5L version

Major dissapointment

I had the predecessor, the syncro 10. That one was well made, did fit the 3l liquid bag and was roomy inside even with the 3l inside. This one: only 2.5 l do fit, the magnet is rubbish (feels like they used only have the material) and does not hold very well. If you use the water, there is not much room left inside. Looks great, but that's it. The 10 was great, the 12 is rubbish.

Osprey pack isn't just trail and street friendly

No nonsense cycle pack when the Metron and Radial is just too big. Osprey quality is great and well thought out. Straps are the usual narrow and thin Osprey affair but comfortable, nonetheless. I use these Velcro neoprene sleeves I got as a sample when visiting Outdoor Retailer to bulk the shoulders up just a tad. The helmet hook is amazing! I have used this one on a few hikes as well and didn't notice this was a bike specific pack at all

Syncro-12, nearly dang perfect

Great MTB or even day hike pack if you dont try to bring too much...but then too much is just that, you dont need "too much". Buuttttt, a syncro-14 would be the cats meow. Build and material quailty = 10stars My one grip would be that the hydro pack always needs to go in first...a small thing.
