Great for home wall

The package came with screws and had a good variety of holds. These work best as foot chips and very shallow crimps. Prepare for the pump!

Super happy with the selection

Mostly good. I divided them up based on crimps and foot holds. The incut edges - the yellow pieces - are awesome. Green ones are basically tiny tiny jugs. The red ones are straight chips across the board. I think these are really lovely, even if you do just use them as foot holds. I didn't realize Metolius made a line of incut edges, so this bag opened my eyes to a great series of holds for my home wall. I mean, REI doesn't actually carry them, but they're out there is you look. As far as the screws, they came with generic drywall screws. I'd switch to a self-tapping coarse thread, but also, I don't really care. If the presence or absence of some cheap screws is a make or break for you, you can make holds out of oak and pre-drill for bolts.

Gooey holds

Good shapes and holds, but many of the holds had a plasticity oily goo on them, like unset plastic or something. This obviously affected how well they worked. I scrubbed them and added lots of chalk, and this eventually helped a bit. Not ideal

Toxic?

I didn't see the warning that these are toxic until after I opened the bag. We had planned to install them indoors for our daughter to climb the walls but since they are made of material that is potentially cancerous we won't be doing that. We are thinking we may still use them outdoors in a different setting but still, never feels good to purchase something that is labeled as toxic, especially if it's something a child will be using.

The size of chips

Doesn’t come with screws! It’s great for a garage wall, but not really versatile.

Goood

Nice screw- ins. “Cheap” can use as small crimps especially on volumes or nice feet. None have broke yet.
