Almost perfect... buyers with hot hatches beware
This rack is great. Super easy to mount to the car, and holds the bike in a very secure manner. My only gripe is that the rack is so long that it sticks past the back of my car (2005 Subaru WRX wagon) and hits the spoiler when I try to open the hatch, and even without the spoiler it would hit the glass before reaching full height. Mounting the rack backwards solves this, but it’s obviously meant to be run with the fork towards the front of the vehicle. With a different vehicle I’d give it a perfect score.
Versatile and reliable
I love this bike rack. It worked perfect on a 2009 Honda Odyssey, then on a 2018 Jeep Compass and now on a 2010 Honda CR V. The only concern is that due to a design issue, I had to invert my two Outrides (facing backwards), because otherwise the rail won't let the gate open. My setup: 2 Outride 561 2 ProRide 591 on WingBar Evo 118 Rapid Podium
Really slick!
Really happy with how easy this was to use - so simple to load/move/adjust the rack itself on and to load the bike on and off. It was as easy as I had hoped! I had ordered two of these but noticed I couldn't use with a Carbon Frame, so had to return one. Also, I have to mount my bike backwards in order to avoid tailgate hitting rack.
