I love the quality of the materials, but the buttons the pants are horrible, why not go with a button fly, they last forever. I'm not a big or fat guy, but they always un-snap.

Not built for work!

I bought these pants for work. I have dozens of Kuhl products and I love them all! I figured these would be perfect work pants. I loved them at first but unfortunately found a flaw in the design for their use as work pants. You can’t work with anything in the front pocket as there is only a single layer of fabric over the pocket and everything else around it is double layered. The minute you bend over with something in your front pocket the fabric blows out from the inside! I contacted Kuhl and they said tough luck. Out over $100 for work pants. Won’t happen again!

Not so Kuhl

Zippers broke in the same spot on every pair of Kuhl pants. Clearly defective, Kuhl refused to repair or replace them.

Unprofessional yet Good Product

I ordered these pants a week ago while they were on sale and opened the package they came in just a few minutes ago. I tried the pants on and liked the fit. I hope they will hold up well as I have read them to in other's reviews. However, the inside of the pants are covered in dog hair and someone else's hair. While this is very far from the worst thing in the world, I save up my money to buy Kuhl products, and I paid for a new product not one that has been pre-worn and rubbed on someone's living room floor before arriving to me. I really do enjoy the other products that I have purchased from REI and Kuhl but this is pretty unprofessional and not something that I would expect from either of these companies.

Stylish and Heavy Duty

I love the quality of these jeans and the styling of the 7 pockets is great. The snap seems solid compared to the Rebel. The color on the website looks like a blue-gray but it is more of a dark gray. Its a great color but not as shown. The jeans look well constructed and you will have 2 options for cell phone and/or keys (one zip, one regular. Note that these are a full cut jean so more room from mid thigh down. I am more of a Klassik fit guy, so I would like to see Kuhl make these pants in the Klassik cut in a very stylish blue. Also important is that the pants are advertised as Kuhl's heaviest weight material. The fabric feels very similar to the Ryder jean but has a cleaner look that I feel makes them a bit nicer than the Rider. Go for it, you will not be disappointed

Great pants except for the snap- which is terrible

Well-made, comfortable, durable, and overall should be outstanding pants but they have a fatal flaw. The snap is absolutely worthless. If I take a deep breath, "pop" it comes undone. If I bend down, "pop" it comes undone. Pretty much anytime I do anything it comes undone. The workaround is that I have to use the gentleman's button and put on a leather belt. It's so bad that if I use an elastic belt, even with the button done, it will still pop open. For a company whose quality is known to be outstanding, this is a total letdown. I've had them for 6 months and I end up not wearing them because of the snap issues. And just in case it crosses your mind, no, I'm not overweight.

Heavy, easy to move in, wear like iron

I'm a pants guy, I check out the racks every time I go to REI, and I have four pairs of these. I wear them all winter long; they're warm but not sweaty like fleece-lined pants. They're essentially a heavier version of the very comfortable Kuhl Rydrs. I discovered those first, and wore one pair until the pockets and cuffs frayed and the knees gave out. The Law has a heavier fabric and double fabric on the pockets, cuffs and knees. After 3 years, no fraying. A couple times I wore them to the gym by necessity, and appreciated their ample cut when I was doing squats. Also occasionally worn them dancing, and was surprised to get compliments on them from my partners. Nobody will confuse them with today's slim-legged styles. But these are pants for the long run. The only downside ... they are heavy.

Warranty not honored

Kuhl refused to honor their warranty after the zipper of my pants fell apart. Clear manufacturing breakdown or poor product. Could have been a simple fix but they refused to honor the warranty. Pants were $89 and fell apart after about 18 months.

tough pants

These pants were very comfortable. although i did not anticipate them being so heavy duty though. I was expecting something like normal denim, but these are a heavier almost canvas-style material and I love the look of the seamlines. If you work outside in the dirt or want indestructible hiking pants, these are for you. I cant wait until cooler temperatures so I can wear them more often.

Great pants but Kuhl's sizing is inconsistent

Great pants but Kuhl's sizing is inconsistent. I wear a 34 X 34 in all other pant, including my other two pairs of Kuhl, however these 34 X 34 pants fit more like 34 X 36. I'll get them hemmed but I'm bummed that I'm paying top dollar for an excellent pair of well made pants but the company's sizing consistency is lacking. I had this problem with them years ago and stopped buying their pants online because of it-despite how much I like the style and quality. I hope this is a one-off issues.
