Holds a surprising amount

I'm a fan of the Cotopaxi brand and was intrigued by this bag. I purchased it in store so I was able to select from about 4 color combinations they had at the time. I have used it for work and it comfortably carries my 15" work laptop, my mouse, headset, small notebook and personal items. I even packed it for a weekend trip although it was tight with my sweatshirt in the middle. The lower front pocket can even fit my Nido accessory bag that I use for toiletries, tech items and wallet stuff. I do wish that it was about 2 or 3" wider as it almost looks like a children's backpack.

Perfect for weekend trips.

This pack was chosen due to the compartments and making it easy to put my camera stuff and drone in while being able to lock the zippers and head out for a day and have lots of room water and buying goodies while I travel around the world. Wife loves the colors of it. I love the perfect size and all the little zippers everywhere. Website doesn’t show just how many spots you have to put things. I love it.

Great design, finishing could be better

This is my fourth bag from Cotopaxi. I also have the allpa 42L, batac 24L and batac 16L. The batac 24L has a laptop compartment but is too big for my daily use. Batac 16L was just nice but doesn’t have laptop compartment. The Tasra hit the sweet spot for me. Love carrying this bag to work as it fits my exercise gear and protects my laptop. However this is the only bag with fabric fraying in the front pockets. The unraveled threads get into the zipper and require some effort to remove. In the last month, I have removed long threads from the zipper multiple times. Disappointed with the finish of an otherwise perfect bag.

The Cotopaxi Tasra is Outstanding!

This bag is Outstanding! I purchased this versatile multiuse bag for minimalist travel to carry as a personal item to avoid baggage fees on budget airlines. Primarily for weekends, and overnighters. I packed 2 pair of shorts, 3 T shirts, 1 Button up shirt, 1 pair of pants, 3 pair of socks, 3 pairs of boxers, in my Eagle Creek Packing cubes: XS (4.5x7.5x2.5), S (7.25x10x3.25), M (10x14.25x3.25). I was also able to fit my fully loaded TSA 1 quart travel bag, Osprey Ultralight Dry Stuff Pack, Eagle Creek Passport Travel Organizer, Anker Power Core 1300 backup battery, Wise Owl Outfitters Travel Towels, Wise Owl Outfitter 10 Liter Dry Bag, and a medium plastic medicine bottle. This is enough for a 3 Night trip I have planned for next month, and I still have a bit of room for any last minute things I my want to add later. With the outer dimensions being 17x10.5x5.5 this 16 Liter bag will fit under any airline seat with ease. Including the budget airlines with smaller seats. I packed this bag full with the items I am intending on taking on my next trip, It was comfortable, and steady fully loaded, so I know it will be great walking through the airport. I love Cotopaxi’s Del Dia Collection for the unique color combinations, and the fact that the bags in the Del Dia line are made with re-purposed, and remnant materials from other backpack companies. The versatility of this bag is great as well. It has a lap top sleeve that can carry a 15” laptop. It can also be used as a briefcase, or messenger bag (shoulder strap not included). The backpack straps unclip, and tuck in behind the back panel of the bag to get them out of the way for snag free use when not being used as a backpack. The one and only small complaint I have is that there is no designated water bottle pocket. The Cotopaxi Tasra Del Dia is a fun, and versatile bag ready for what you want to use it for.

Great casual/work backpack!

I have the non Del Dia version of this backpack (black outside, red inside). Other than the color differences, the features are the exact same. Front (top) pocket has a zippered pocket inside. Front (bottom) is just a large compartment. Inside, one side for organizing school/work things (laptop, iPod/iPad, magazines, small, flat folders, pens.. etc.). The other side has one large zippered compartment.

Amazing Quality, Color, and Organization!

I love this backpack! It has pockets and a place for everything. I waited awhile to get just the colors I wanted but I’m so happy I finally got it! The fabric is light but very sturdy. It is a perfect travel backpack and not too big. I also love that even when it’s stuffed full it still looks good! No turtle shell here :joy:

OBSESSED

I bought this to use as a diaper bag, and it has been amazing. Keys, chapstick, phone, etc in the top pocket. Snacks in the bottom. Extra clothes and stuff in the inside zipper half, diaper stuff in the laptop sleeve. It’s light, cute, and totally unique.

Love This Pack!

Cotopaxi caught me on a great day to ask for a review of my new pack. Just finished packing for a weekend trip and I am beyond pleased with everything this baby holds. Everything I need in one place, my clothes, personal care items, socks, meds, e reader, travel hair dryer, even my hut Mocs Even though my injury prohibits hiking this trip, I know this pack will be a great light weight addition on the trail. I can’t believe the care and engineering that went into this bag, plus the main compartment opens all the way so you can see everything inside. My last travel bag was a top down affair and was black inside so I had to scramble around to find anything. No more! I love this bag and I plan to give several for Christmas!

Blissful Backpack Weekends

So you need an overnight bag? Your friend invited you to sleep over at his place and all you need is a change of clothes and a couple toiletries. This bag can pack that perfectly plus some room. Let's say you want to take the weekend and go hiking over the red Utah landscape. It's perfect for that. I love how this is the perfect overnight backpack. I used it for traveling through various airports because you can keep an extra change of clothes in the zipper pouch in the large pocket. Plus, I can't believe how much I can stuff inside the front two pockets. We were running through the airport about to miss our flight and I grabbed a book and some snacks from a Deseret News. On the plane I had to find a place to put them. Somehow, even after packing the top pouch full, I was able to fit my book in there AND the snacks I bought. Amazing! This bag is versatile for whatever travel you need but I wouldn't recommend it as a perfect school backpack. It's hard to access stuff in one direction. For example, if my laptop is in the sleeve I have to open the bag horizontally...but if my charging cord is in the front pouch I have to open that vertically. Eventually I find myself turning the bag a few times to get all I need. I do with that the laptop sleeve was vertical instead of horizontal because it is hard to get the laptop out for everyday convenience. Other than that it's great for flying, driving, hiking a little, and just being away for the night!

Cute and functional

Colorful. Holds a lot of stuff. Packs well. Looking forward to using this when we can travel again. It opens like a briefcase so keep that in mind. We got it for a 6 year old to use backpacking and it’s a bit big for him. Would probably fit 8 and up and most women. I can think of many uses though. So cute.
