Best backpack + non-diaper bag diaper bag

I have been looking for a non-diaper bag diaper bag for a long time. I own quite a few backpacks from various brands for different purposes, they are great but none of them make a practical diaper bag. I have always wanted a Cotopaxi backpack so I did some research on the different 16L - 20L size bags. I came across one review that the lady shared how she used this Tasra 16L backpack as a diaper bag as well as a travel backpack (thank you for the review!!). I bought it and it was the best backpack I have by far. Love the external compartments where I can have quick access to the basic baby essentials (tissues, pacifies, toys). At first I thought 16L might be too small, but each compartment is roomy and I can fit all of my stuff and baby stuff (diapers changing mats bottles hot water bottles few sets of clothing and accessories) in this one bag. The straps are super comfortable and the material is sturdy. Love the color - my husband is a black only kind of guy and even he was eager to carry the bag because of the cool color. Love the zippers and the small pockets inside of the bag where I can keep a lot of small things like keys sunglasses. We have received a lot of compliments on the backback. When my baby grows up she will definitely use this Tarsa as her school bag and she will be the coolest kid in school!

I have high hopes!

I got this backpack for my 14 year old daughter. It was a surprise that she can use on our June 2025 trip to Costa Rica and Panama. Her first reaction upon seeing it was, "That is super cute!" The fit of it on her back was comfortable and, "like it's not there." The quality of the pack is exceptional. Taking the chance to not know what the colors on the pack would be was worth it. My 14 year old daughter loves it, so it has to be cool, right?!?

Love the 2 front pockets

I brought pack this mainly for its small size, outer pockets and inner organizational pockets. It doubles nicely as a school pack or hike back. It is easy to use, lightweight and fits a small computer, side pockets are good for water bottles which I like. The only downsides: I would prefer the "pen" pockets to be inside the front pockets (vs main compartment), and the straps didn't sit well on my shoulders, one side would always want to slip off a shoulder. Also, I have back issues and despite a light load, this seemed to hurt my back more quickly than my larger backpack would. So, 4 stars.

Llamas do it again!

I have the previous version of the Tasra but it wasn't working well for work because things would fall out when I unzipped it (because of the clamshell opening) -and it was hard to access the laptop sleeve, so this new version is the bomb! LOVE the top opening and the water bottle pockets (thanks to the llamas for listening to all the llama bag enthusiasts who said this bag needed a water bottle pocket!) The same outside pockets that hold a LOT of stuff and the same great color combos (though I would really like one with more bright pink/Fuschia on it) - what's not to love?! This is my new work bag and it works well for travel, too! Thanks llamas!

Top-notch quality!

Superb quality. I use my backpack to work and for pleasure trips. I love the vibrant colors. Great for my needs, good organization and it can certainly hold a lot. The materials used were sustainably sourced (I always opt for recycled materials) and proudly crafted in my home country—The Philippines!

Uncomfortable straps

Love the new design of the bag. The external pockets mean that fewer things get lost in the bottom of the main pocket. Was really looking forward to using this as a work bag and a personal item when flying. Unfortunately, the straps are horribly stiff and sit too wide. Even loaded with only the basic work items, the bag was immediately uncomfortable. Fully loaded, it would be painful on the shoulders. Will have to return. Hopefully the straps can be improved in the future.

Extremely handy

It’s so lightweight, practical, and fun. I can easily pack a laptop with its charger, an action camera, clothes for a weekend, sandals, and even an insulated vest.
