Say goodbye to your other leggings!
I've always had trouble with leggings fitting wrong, from being too loose, slipping down my waist, camel toes, see through, scratchy, etc. I've tried every brand: Lululemon, Gymshark, Zella, Athleta, Outdoor Voices - nothing feels and fits as well as these Vuori leggings. I did a run in Texas summer heat and still felt cool in them, went to the gym and didn't have any problems with these slipping down my waist or have any camel toes. Did I mention, THESE ARE SO SOFT AND BUTTERY! Price might be high, but it's well worth it. Some perspective on fit: I am petite with an athletic build (5'3), 109 lbs. I purchased a size XS. Fits perfect.
Very nice, just now WOW.
I have washed and worn these twice. Pros: Soft Wash well (I line dry) Cute Not TOO much compression Not see through Cons: I used the size chart (XS) and they are a little baggy below the knees and at the ankles. I would not size up. Maybe this is because I am short though. The waistband and drawstring like to fall down. Thin. They are not winter leggings by themselves but they would probably work under other leggings/pants. They are very cute for everyday leggings. I do not think they would work for my running because of the waistband. I hate tugging to keep my pants up so I have not bothered to try since they don’t stay put around the house.
Not what I expected
I have a pair of joggers by this brand and love them. I was hoping these would be equally soft but I found the material to be sort of like a bathing suit. Kind of hard, scratchy, and slippery/shiny. They fit like skin-tight leggings, but I was expecting a subtle, slightly relaxed fit. The tie at the waist is cute; the problem is that if I bend over, the two inches of space above the tie literally rolls down. I felt like a banana being peeled. Overall I found them uncomfortable. I was a M in the joggers and a M fit well here, so sizes seem consistent with this brand, which I appreciate.
Wanted to love it but sadly no
I love this brand and I wanted to love their flagship product so badly but it doesn't seem like it's meant to be. First, sizing has been a huge challenge: I tried on sizes XS to M in different colors and it seems that in all sizes I get a huge camel toe. I don't have this issue with other brands and it seems like this is a common issue with this brand. I went to the climbing gym in these initially feeling cute but over the session I began feeling more and more self conscious of my camel toe thinking it was staring everyone down and my standing positions got more and more crooked in an attempt to hide it. Also it bothered me that I had to keep pulling the waistband up even with the drawstrings! The drawstrings became undone at some point so I had to retie them with super chalky hands... this might be in part that these leggings are not as high rise as other leggings I own (hits right at my belly button while others completely cover my belly button). My last issue is the color I purchased: hazelnut. The name implies brown, I thought I was buying a pair of brown leggings. I asked two different friends what color they thought my leggings were and they both said purple or mauve. Neither of them thought it was brown. I still like the color but it looks quite different from what I was expecting.
Perfect slimming leggings
I bought these on sale at the store and I'm planning to go back and get another pair. They feel very tight when you are putting them on, but once you're wearing them the material is actually extremely soft and comfortable, and they are definitely slimming and very flattering. The picture here doesn't make them appear skin-tight, but they definitely are. I don't love the string and there is no pocket for a key, otherwise I'm absolutely in love with them.
Doesn’t reflect well on Vuori products
I love Vuori products, but this pair of yoga pants were very disappointing. It is very hard to find a good pair of yoga pants that don’t show your underwear, can perform / feel comfortable AND look amazing. So I thought Vuori hit a grand slam when I brought these home. However, the first time I wore them after purchase I noticed a small hole in my thigh area in class so I was very careful with them until I got home and I put them aside to repair. I absolutely hate returning things especially over something so small and easily fixed. So I fixed the small hole and continued to wear them. However after 4-5 more uses I was informed that I had a hole in the backside seam as well. And when I went to investigate and possibly repair the entire crotch seam had micro holes all along it. It is unrepairable. Not worth $10-15 per use, before you’re risking indecent exposure. I’m hopeful that my pair merely was defective but I will be returning them sadly.
Camel toe gone wild
Camel toe was out of control! I have leggings from Lululemon, Athleta, and Beyond Yoga and never have this problem. What is Vuori doing making leggings with only a 1” gusset??
Overall, good, but could be improved.
I have several pieces from Vuori and overall love their products, however, these leggings just aren't on par. Despite the drawstring, I feel as though the leggings still slide down a bit and I found myself constantly pulling them up. They also don't have any pockets for keys or credit cards, etc. which I find to be a huge oversight.
Poor design and quality
Was excited to try these because I love Vuori material. These run very small. Seems split quickly. The rounded drawstring does not stay tied. Poor design. Too thin and cold as soon as it’s below 60 degrees. Not worth the price!
Buttery Soft
Buttery soft and all day worthy, but I did notice myself needing to pull them up the longer I wore them. True to size. I am 5'4, normally wear size 8-10 pants and purchased Medium. These look casual, but I would wear them while jogging and doing light exercise like walking, or easier day-hikes.
