Nice ski pants!
Ordered these pants in size S in Beech Green for my 15 year old son who is 5"10" and 145 lbs with a slim athletic build. They are roomy enough to allow full range of movement without looking baggy. He hasn't worn them yet so not sure how they'll perform on the mountain. My only complaint is that on the TNF website Beech Green appears to be a tan khaki when in fact, it's a more of a dark olive brown, so my son was very disappointed. I think the color goes well with my son's TNF jacket in asphalt gray (and we're going on our ski trip in a couple of days), so we're keeping them. I just hope he wears them.
Ski surf hybrid
When I visit my kids in Colorado we usually go skiing. These pants kept me warm and did not limit range of motion. I really appreciate North Face ski pants as I live on the island of Kauai, Hi and warmth is important to me. I also surf, which is a lifestyle more than a sport and now have started to apply surfing maneuvers to skiing, The North Face ski pants are not restricting and keep me loose. This morning this I got tubed in a crystalline, stand up, translucent barrel and saw a frigate bird fly at the mouth of the tube. Did I make it out, no but thats not what a vision quest is about.
Right up there with the Freedom Pant
great pant. I have worn the Freedom pant, insulated for years and stepped outside the box to order this new style. Not disappointed! Great fit, sturdy canvas type outer material and smooth comfortable inside. Granted my first time use was 35 degree day, they are comfortable and warm and definitely compete with the insulated Freedom pant. Stylish color, not too bright on the hill and just flat out nice pair of pants. I strongly recommend slipping on a pair and spend your day on the hill in style with NorthFace Straight Six Pant
Super warm, comfortable and stylish
First day wearing these snowboarding was in -26 degrees fahrenheit windchill in Lake Superior powder and i've never been drier or warmer. Im 6'2, 200 lbs, wear a 36-38 and i bought an XL regular and the fit perfect. The material is super durable, extremely comfy and keeps you warm. I usually wear one base layer under but if it's 10 degrees or below i wear sweatpants under. I'm sure i'll be able to wear these for many years to come.
These are great pants
I snowboard, am 5'-11" 225 lbs and wear a 38-30 in Levi's. My waist is probably 36-37". I have these in XL short, and they feel great. They are a bit on the bigger side, and have straight legs. I wear slimmer fit and tapered stuff for street wear. But they allow full movement and aren't super bunched up at the bottom, I would recommend these pants for sure.
Not very durable
Worn these skiing 15-20 this winter season and already noticing more wear and tear than I'd expect. They're already starting to become water logged and have started to tear around my boots. Could be that I ski a little harder than the average person, but would've expected them to at least last a full season.
Exactly what I needed for snowboarding
Love these pants for snowboarding in mammoth ca. Slim fit is not too slim. Prefer these pants over the standard fit style because those seem too baggy and loose. I did wear long johns under these pants for extra warmth. I would buy these again.
The bear necessities
Got this last-minute for a ski trip because I forgot my other pair. I can't speak to the durability at this time as I have only worn it once. However, the sizing "app" provided by North Face worked to perfection. The pants fit true to size.
Good fit!
fit was a little on the baggy side, yet ok. I wear knee braces, so this style worked for me. with the Goretex, it should be dry! It didn't taper out like some of the other models from NF...
Exactly what I wanted!!
Great Pants. Exactly what I was looking for. Love the weight and the Sequoia color is perfect. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Keep it up North Face!
