Great for comfort, but not perfect for me
I used this for a 2 week trip abroad. The pack was fantastic for loading off & on planes, buses and trains, although I would prefer a handle grab on one of the sides as well. Granted, I over packed a bit, but I didn't like the way the bag opened causing everything to fall out. I spent a lot of time repacking my bag each night. I was able to reorganize everything more comfortably by the end of the trip, but it wasted so much time. In addition, it was difficult to use the outside stretchy pockets for very much and utilize the inside space at the same time. I liked all of the places to clip my water bottle & travel pillow to. Also, I had no problem at all fitting this bag in the overhead bin in airplanes, especially WOWair, where it just disappeared! The BEST part of this bag was the comfort level. I spent a long time with it on my back standing and walking, or running! I'm 5'2 and have the smaller size bag. I always utilized the waist strap and mostly used the chest strap as well. I didn't use the pockets on the waist strap at all. There are things I love about the bag, but since I do more traveling than hiking, I think a different bag would work better for me. The pic shown is at the end of the trip, where I had even more packed, hence the sagging bit!

Underwhelming
This pack would be great at $60. At $120 it is completely underwhelming and overpriced. The "internal frame" is a flimsy piece of plastic rendering the structure of the entire pack floppy. I purchased this bag because of the capacity and the hip belt. You cannot load the bag to capacity, no matter the activity or weight, and have it evenly loaded. It does not sit properly on your back, and does not balance even the lightest if loads. The stitching is poor, and the overall feel of the bag is cheap. It is not well made and not worth $120.

Lightweight and durable

I love my new bag. It looks like a heavy duty bag but lightweight. plus the design is comfortable to use because of the zipper. You can open all the to the bottom, or just the sides because of the handles of the zipper. I so love it i wrote a review. And also the color, the orange one is beautiful, it’s not a bright orange. #optoutside

Great Price and Size

I just purchased this beacuse I want to downsize from my 65L Osprey that I used for 2 years in Asia. I will be using this for a month on a trip to Africa in January and will report how it holds up. I love the fact that it can open down the sides so you can get to what you need without having to pull everything out. I also love the front mesh pocket and that it fits as a carry on for even small airlines. I am 5'6, 155 lbs and got a W Medium. So far so good. I filled it 20lbs at the store and it was very comfortable.

Good organization, poor load transfer, overbuilt

I used this pack for one 10 mile day hike before changing to a different one and returning it. It has nice pockets and seemed to fit me well (petite woman). It has a lot of features, and a lot of heavy straps and hardware that seem unnecessary. The back panel is very flexible and bowed outward instead of providing efficient load transfer to the hipbelt, which made the pack uncomfortable with even a light load. I also found the that shoulder straps began to rotate and stick outward at the sternum strap instead of lying flat. It's a heavy frameless pack that doesn't really benefit from the weight of all its features.

My First Pack

My husband took me to purchase my first trail pack, and after trying on many, this was the right one for me. Not only is it stylish with a sort of vintage look, it's extremely comfortable. It's light weight enough to take on day hikes but spacious enough to fit things you would need for a longer trip. Be mindful that it will only fit a hydrapak of about 2 liters, not 3. The hip pockets and extra padding were comfortable after carrying all day, and the chest strap has a whistle, which was a smart addition. It comes with its own rain cover and it had plenty of mesh pockets for your hiking poles, snacks, extra water, and whatever else you need. This probably isn't a pack you would want for a short day hike, but for longer all day excursions or short overnight trip, it's perfect. For its maiden voyage, I took this pack on a four day trip to Yosemite, and it still looks brand new after I dusted it off. Love it.

Backpacked in the UK

I bought this pack for a 2 week trip to the UK. It was my first time backpacking so I don’t have anything to compare to but it worked out great for me. The way it unzips made it easy with packing cubes. However the sides do collapse when the pack is unzipped and laid flat so I do think it would be difficult to pack without cubes. The inside pockets were good for shoving miscellaneous things into. The outside mesh pockets worked well for towels, wash clothes, or things I wanted to quickly grab. The rain cover was a blessing! I was able to run with it on and walk around for a while. It made it on Ryanair (with priority) without being checked. I’m 5’5.5”, 130 and I bought the small size.

Bad fit

I wanted a pack capacious enough for a quick overnighter, and this seemed like it would have fit the bill. The hardware is nice and heavy-duty, and the pockets on the waist strap are delightfully large! The colors are purdy, too. However, the upper back curvature on the pack is extreme. It pulled the load away from my body, even with the compression/suspension straps fully tightened down. I did not use it on the trail--ordered it online and walked around the store with 15 or 20 pounds in it for an hour or so. Needless to say, I returned it, but wished I didn't have to. I recommend it if it fits you well.

Looks Good but Not Comfortable

I really like this pack in theory, but with 20lbs during my trip to Africa it was really painful on the shoulders and hips. Even just going through airports. I am 5'6 155lbs and got the medium size. I really wanted to like this but it just wasnt comfortable with 20lbs inside.

This pack of fantastic

I’ve used this for two travel trips up to a week each. It holds a lot and fits in airlines overhead bins perfectly. Makes travel much easier than a suitcase. Love the zippered pouches in the padded waist belt.
