Protection from the elements without bulk
Rarely do I find pants that actually fit me! They worked great snowshoeing and skiing and I also wore them during cold and rainy weather outside. They kept me warm and dry without feeling bulky.
Don't buy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product for the first time this year skiing in CO. I skied 5 days and came home to horrible stains from skiing on the mountain. If you sat anywhere, even on a lift to slope, something would automatically stain the material. I came home and tried to remove the stains, but the material did not allow for this and they are ruined. I spent this money for one vacation and now can not use it again. Although this product is used for skiing, I would recommend going with a different material / product.
I would totally recommend these
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these. They are warming up for skiing. They have a flattering fit and are very comfortable. They have a fleece lining on the inside that keeps you warm. I was able to wear shorts underneath them and was warm all day on the mountain. I am 5 feet tall so the fit is perfect in the petite/short length. I have such a hard time finding pants that fit correctly and do not drag.
Love my Snow Pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these pants! They sold out of the Regular Inseam and i had to get the small but they still fit, although if you're 5'6 i would suggest regular, I needed these asap! Supper comfy and the mud would wipe right off! Super impressed. love them and they look so cute on!
Run very small, but they're great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recommend sizing up. I am 5'4" 110 and usually wear a size 0-2 in womens pants, but can range from 0 to 6 in snow pants (or XS-S). So I ordered an XS regular because many brands usually run big on me, especially in the hips. I forgot that North Face tends to run smaller in the waist and hips for snow pants but my old ones were that way, too. The regular length was perfect with ski boots, though! So I had to exchange for the next size up, but am looking forward to receiving them soon! I think they will be perfect for my upcoming ski trip to Crested Butte and I'm so pumped because I've been wanting a green color like this for so long!
Exactly what I was looking for to add to my collection
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very excited to try these pants for skiing this winter. I like that the cut is slim; in fact it's very slimming. I stayed true to size with an XS (115lbs, 5'2, athletic build) and they fit snugly but I appreciate this. I know I won't depend on these for being the absolute warmest or waterproof by any means but for the casual ski day these will be great! Love the white color, hope it will hold up when I inevitably will have to wash them after every ski day. If you're worried about fit, size up but if you're okay with super slim tight but still a bit stretchy then stay true to size. Definitely considering buying the green color as well.
Comfortable and great look
I've had these pants in black for several years, with my only complaint being that they were much too long for my 5'3" body. I only recently started looking for snow pants in short and was happy to see these came in short. Just received the flag blue in short. Love the color! The length is still a tad long, but sooo much better than the regular length I had before. Can't wait to give them a run down the slopes. The only thing I'd like to see with adjustable waste bands is to ditch the velcro and do snaps or hooks. I'm really curvy so I'm constantly moving to the tightest setting and the velcro can just be irritating if your base layer doesn't stay put.
Great Pants But Wrong Sizing
Love these pants; they are very flattering on. However, I agree with sizing, they are off. The Medium is size 6 and the Large is size 12, a big gap.
Weird Sizing
These are super cute, but the sizing seems wrong. I am a 25 in pants, and the XS (25-27) wouldn't even zip. Size way up if you purchase.
No need to size up
Just received my pants. I made the mistake of listening to reviewers who indicated a need to size up. Couldn't disagree more. I'm 5'4", 115 pounds, ordered a small and they are swimming on me! Northface website size guide also indicates to order a small. Wish I had ordered both XS and Small at the same time. Otherwise, I like the quality and feel of the outer fabric, feels like they will be really windproof.
