Great pants with some issues
First of all these pants seem great. Note I have only worn them inside at this point. Seems like great construction, quality, lots of great pockets. Like the removable fleece liner. Now the downside. I wear a 32X32 pant which meets the medium size criteria for these pants. However the waist is way to big for a size 32 and you can't tighten them enough using the Velcro waist side adjusters. Also the had a small sized fleece liner in a medium sized pant. Not sure if that was purposeful or not but the fleece liner is too tight and short. I really wanted to make these work but will likely return them. Too bad because they seem like great pants. If you think they will fit you I highly recommend them.
Great quality pants
Great pants. Very warm - I think I'd only wear the fleece if it's under 25F and cloudy conditions or for low activity days. They are well made with lots of features. My only issue is that I'm a 32 waist, 32 inseam - I ordered the medium thinking the velcro waist straps will be enough! they are not! still lots of room - so I had to buy suspenders. Maybe I'll grow into them one day with some middle age spread!
the perfect snowboard pant exists !
Well executed snowboard pant. The pants are pre articulated, have plenty of storage in all the right places. The pockets are either zippered or have ample velcro. The waterproof/breathability is that of the B brands AK at twice the price. The boa friendly boot gaiter is spot on. Didnt really appreciate that until i picked up B brand step ons. The fleece liner pants zip out and make a nice casual piece with functional pockets - think elevated sweat pants. Unless its sub artic temps out I ride without the fleece liners and go with a thinner base layer. Great all around snowboard pant that I'd highly recommend.
Solid product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initial thoughts really good - very nicely made, attention paid to stitching. Plenty of pockets. Fit is good - exactly as described and the M fit is as expected. The built-in-liner isn't something I'm going to use very often in Europe, but it's removable and I guess I can wear them around the house. Would have gone for a pure shell that's resort rather than freeride aimed - their Goretex shell is a bit pricey for me to rag around resort and park. Downside - material feels a little shiny and plasticky - my previous pair felt a lot more like a regular pair of trousers. Not terrible, but worth noting.
Ski pants
Comfy, warm, pockets in the right places( on leg so when on lift, you can reach whatever)
BRUH THE WAIST SIZE (OVERALL GREAT STYLE)
I am 6'1" 180lb and i wear 32/33 waist and typically 34 inseam. I have worn the standard 686 cargo pants for years in size medium so I got a pair of M smarty pants and dood, AWESOME pants! But the waist (even with the fleece pants on) could definitely accommodate a 35/36 waist... Im gonna keep the pants (I returned a pair of gore-tex volcom pants because they were subpar to the fit of 686 when wearing boots and in riding stance) but 686, can y'all figure out the waist band so I can by some more pants, there are tons of tall skinny doods out here that need a waist band true to size and a length that wont ride up when bending down (the pants have good articulation and length where they dont ride up).
Like them, though not what I thought they would be
Being unfamiliar with this brand and general style of pants, I had a different idea of what they would be. I was thinking more along the lines of a fleece lined pant. I wanted something to wear hiking or snow shoeing in the winter in northern Minnesota. I pull the liner out and wear the outer shell, similar to snow pants. They do well, I used them in -15 degree temps over the past few mornings to walk three blocks and they were warm. I had them over cotton dress pants. The raise of the pants, the area between the crotch and the waist, could be a little taller, and when the waist band is adjusted it bunches up the pants in the back, which feels strange and lowers the waist in that area a little more. I have a 34" waist with an athletic build. They fit over my boots well, and the length is good. the fabric cuts wind well, and there is a thin liner that is sewn to the outer layer that acts to trap air. Over all I like them and don't regret the purchase. I don't know if I'll ever end up using the inner fleece pants for anything, but you never know.
Great pant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best pant in the biz!! Do it is great. Not too baggy not too slim. Could use more colours.
Very good warmth and high quality- only one minor complaint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable to wear and have not gotten to wear them in action yet to test the waterproofing ability but I do know they provide a lot of comfort. They color and design is super nice on them and quality product. My only complaint is how tight the liner pant is if I’m wearing another pair of pants underneath and that they pop out whenever I try to take the snow pants off. Otherwise they work great and that’s just one minor inconvenience that I can work through. I wonder how they will do mobility wise. The color does look super good w my snowboarding paints
Roomy Pants!
I needed roomier pants for a heavy duty knee brace. I tried these on in the store and you couldn't even see the brace. When I tried them out on the slopes there was no problem with catching or rubbing. Note: I didn't wear the insulating liner, only the pant over a base layer. The day was cool at 15F or so with a bit of a breeze, still plenty warm. I think it would have to be 10 degrees or more cooler before I'd try the insulation layer.
