Cute, warm, and cozy!
This piece is so warm, cozy, and beautiful! Got a Medium and I’m 5’5 125 pounds and it fits true to size. I could have sized down to a Small but the Medium is more comfortable for me. Highly recommend.

Feels itchy and runs small
I absolutely love wearing merino wool tops. But as soon as I tried on this sweater, it felt itchy!? It also fits more snug than a size Med should. I had planned to return it, but just realized R.E.I. does not pay for return shipping!? I am not a happy customer today, and frustrated that I will lose money for trying a different brand that was rated 5 star.

I usually wear a size Medium in Smartwool, size Large in Icebreaker, though I'm a size 4-6. These run small, so while a medium fit, I purchased a large for freedom of movement. This top is warm as a base layer or on its own with a vest. Super cute patterns & colors (true to what you see online). Love the color combinations. Get it on sale- totally worth it! Not *quite* as soft as other merino baselayers I own, but very warm (not overly so). Great addition to my outdoor arsenal.

I always wear lg top (for shoulders & chest size) med bottom. This top was snug overall, so exchanging for XL, not typical size for any clothing I buy.

Cozy, Pretty and Durable

I have this half-zip base layer top in several different colors. I work outside in the winter 4-5 days a week and my mornings begin before sunrise. It's really important that I have gear that will keep me warm and also keep me dry. This base layer not only accomplishes both of those things, it also makes me feel cute :)

I bought this for the upcoming season. I am on the heavier side, so it’s not always easy to find clothes that fit off the shelf. I ordered this only hoping it was sized right and this fit very comfortably. It’s so soft and warm. We have some backpacking trips next fall, so I’m looking forward to putting these to use.
