The best stuff on earth, hands down!
If you’re reading a review on Astronaut Ice Cream, stop reading and just buy it. This stuff is the best. Years ago my girlfriend’s parents told her she could pick out her Christmas gift up to $300. She told them to get her $300 of Space Ice Cream. I had loved the stuff long before that Christmas, but that was the moment when it became something a bit more than love. I now buy a pack anytime I’m in any store that carries the stuff. If NASA wants more Americans to join up for space missions they simply have to outlaw Space Ice Cream for anybody who isn’t part of the program. I’d join tomorrow.
Lots of fun and tastes great
Dont order online...it'll come damaged. Buy them in the store instead
Great Bribing Tool
6 year old kid approved! We used it as a bribing tool to get our kiddo to hike up the Watchmans tower trail in Crater Lake National Park. Worked like a charm! Gonna stock up on them so we can do more trails.
YUM!
A fun, nostalgic treat! Easily tucked in a day bag, shelf stable and ready. Is it an essential? That’s subjective, but if a tasty treat out and about is important… then perhaps it is? Flavors are solid … as they have been since the Apollo Moon Missions. This is a fun way to enjoy a treat!
caping
If you eat this more as snack than ice cream this will taste great
Dreamy nostalgia
My brother and I used to beg for these when we went to the NY State Museum gift shop as kids. These are just as tasty and nostalgic as I hoped they would be.
Great snack or treat
Easy simple snack or treat that tastes great no melting like ice cream and the while family loves them.
Bring back just the ice-cream
Just not as good as the space ice cream. the wafer cookie distracts from flavor
Not a fan.
I'd been meaning to try this for years and finally gave it a go. It's literally as advertised: a Neapolitan ice cream sandwich, completely dried out (and room temperature). It breaks apart when you bite into it, so don't eat it in your tent! And you'll want a sip of water afterward; it soaks up all the saliva in your mouth. I prefer my ice cream to be ice cream: cold and creamy. I'll have other treats when I'm on the trail.
Crunchy Goodness
Always Delicious, just as I remembered as a kid!!!
