Perfect Sling camera strap.
Use this for more than 4 years and Im very happy, so comfortable.
Confortable and strong
The Slide lite is very confortable and can expand to a nice length, it feel and is strong, for my Sony A7III with 24-70 lense. the touch feels good and don't burn the neck. The clipping system to remove the Slide lite is faste and convenient, so i can easyly switch to video and use a gimbal by exemple.
Good Looking Quality Camera Strap
I’m a professional photographer and desperately needed a new camera strap. I decided to ask a local photographer Facebook group for recommendations. Several people recommended Peak Design. After reading dozens and dozens of reviews, I decided to take the plunge. I’m so pleased with my decision. The quality of the strap is undeniable. The green color is super beautiful and makes me want to go on an adventure. Thank you for making such amazing camera straps!
Perfect for mirrorless
Absolutely perfect for crossbody wear with 1/4 lug attachment point. Use it w my z6ii w a 14-30 or 24-70 and it’s the perfect weight for that setup.
Comfortable, great quality
I thought it was kind of expensive for a camera strap, but the quality is fantastic. Super easy to adjust the length on the fly, and locks securely. Feels great. Love the versitility with the anchors. Slides easily across the body on the slidey side, and grips well on the rubber side. Only thing that could be improved is somehow allowing a way to choose whether the slidey side or rubber side is the "default" side down- i.e. if I want to use the rubber side down, the strap is always twisted on top and therefore less comfortable. It would be nice if we could rethread it through the buckles to flip the top part the way we want so it's not twisted.
A very versatile and smart camera strap ever
The slide lite camera strap meets all my requirement no matter when I use it for my mirrorless camera or DSLR. It is quite convenience and comfortable for me to make handheld shots or tripod shots with my camera and even holding the camera on body. However, I am not sure if the anchor housings metal part can get rusty or if there is any anti-rusty paint on the metal part of the anchor housings to prevent rust when people use the strap at the salt water environment e.g.: seaside, on salt water fishing boat, on marine vessel ... I am really impressed on the product especially PD is quite concern on environmental protection and global warming.
Slite lite
This product is the best, thanks!!!!!, I’m using with Fujifilm XT-1 and it’s very comfortable
Great product…that is all.
Honestly, how excited can you get about a camera strap? It’s either good quality or poor quality and regardless of either, chances are it’s going to work. It is after all…just a strap. Side Lite changes all of that. I actually couldn’t help but laugh at how excited I got the first time I put it on. Ha! Quality just feels great, there is nothing cheap about this product. From the anchors to the strap to the adjustable buckles…it just feels expensive and smart. Thoughtful design, no gimmicks, clean, attractive, useful and effective. I fricken love it! Still hilarious to say that…about a camera strap. It’s the only one I’ll recommend. Super well done.
Slide Lite vs. Leash
I already had a Leash Camera Strap which I found perfect and light when using with compact zooms or prime lenses, on my new mirrorless camera body. However on bigger zoom lenses such as 14-24, 24-70 and 70-200 I needed more support; Thus I purchased the Slide Light which was the proper solution at the end. If I want to go out for street photography or any type of photography with prime or contact zooms I will still use my Leash camera strap, changing fast from the one to the other with the Anchor Link connection system, while using the same anchors. But for everything else, the Slide Lite is the perfect camera strap. Excellent product.
Straps in Good!
Originally I had purchased the thicker strap didnt work out for me was too thick I had it exchanged for the lite which I love works best for me I really do love the style and the strength it has how easy it is to move around clip and unclip make larger or small with one hand. The only thing I'd have to say is the larger strap had a cuff at the end by the clip that prevented the strap from being open and bulky and in this lite it doesn't have it and it gets in my way at times I had to add a rubber band to keep that loop closed. Other than that it's the perfect strap! All straps should be made equally the same I would very much so recommend pd straps!
