Really good quality, fun to use, will last a long time. I use on river runs and have done salt water fishing in gulf. Seats are comfortable and foot rests are good height. Recommend buying a skirt if you take out where waves are

Good value, stability, features, and comfort

I have the most recent version of the 125 Tsunami. Has excellent seat comfort, features, stability, and tracking, and is a great value as an all-around kayak for most situations. For a polyethylene boat, the 51 lbs. is lighter than some others in the 12-13 ft. size. I rate 4 stars because performance is not as good as several of the thermoformed boats I own - but I needed something more durable for rocky rivers. I wish it turned easier, it’s not as maneuverable as my other kayaks, yet I still think you don’t really need a rudder, it tracks straight so well, but you can still edge turn. Keep in mind that all the new Tsunami models have same cockpit opening of 16” by 32”, (the 145 for bigger people has higher deck height and accommodates longer legs), so cockpit dimensions given on web site includes the rim. This will make the opening a tight squeeze for anyone much heavier than 200 lbs. It’s plenty roomy once you get in. Spray skirts don’t fit too well, the seat back still sits up a bit too high, even at its lowest position, this would be easy for the manufacturer to change. Otherwise, it’s great choice for someone who wants a do-it-all kayak as long as they realize it’s not the best for any one situation.
